Great professor... very clear in what he wants from his students. He does a phenomenal job teaching the basic micro-concepts of economics. As long as you go to class and look at the summary sections in the textbook before quizzes you will be fine

I like his class a lot! His tests are kinda hard but he is a helpful Professor, you have to study every week for his class for getting an A! Final was really hard but he is generous with grading! So I can recommend him to you! Good luck..

This class is so boring. I dread going every class day. The quizzes are worded in a weird way that only he understands but If you study for them (actually study) you should be fine. No tests. All quizzes in class always 10-12 questions. Every time you go to class you get a 1/2 point added to your midterm/final. If study/go to class youwill be fine

Overall good teacher, tries to help students relate by using drug and alcohol references. Def need to participate! If he knows who you are that's great! Always willing to help! Really nice and tries to make it funny even if it's not your strong subject. Don't buy the book, his notes are so much more helpful! print notes ahead of class! :)

Spizman is such an awesome guy. The class is hard if you dont pay attention because it's all cumulative, not the testing but the course in general, everything you learn will relate to something else you'll learn in the future. Gives extra credit if you stay in class after quizzes (weekly) HILARIOUS guy

Good professor and very easy to approach. Go to class even though he posts the notes online. This guy illustrates concepts with real life examples. Tests are very straight forward. Much better Macroeconomics professor than Goffe.

Comment:

This class is not for someone who struggled in ECO 101. The material is much more in depth. However, Dr. Spiz does a great job in teaching it and you can tell that he definitely enjoys his job. There is a short quiz every week, midterm, final, and 2-3 papers along the way. I would definitely recommend taking this class with him.
