The online class is incredibly easy. Tests are based on lecture notes provided. The text is useless, and it reads like a magazine. The questions offered for online dicussion were nonsense.

Took online and was very easy. He was quick to respond to questions. He wasn't very personable, therefore he came off as rude, but I'm sure that wasn't his intention. Highly recommended.

Great teacher, responds to emails quickly but some of his test questions are hard, makes you think. They can be tricky so make sure you read the book and know everything. He does give a study guide but it didnt help much for me.

I had him online, as did my brother. His questions required a lot of thought and could be really tricky. I recommend taking the online class. The discussions are important and thought provoking. When I was submitting the final exam, the whole gville tech system crashed and he graded my exam by hand. I advise taking it online. A lot.

He has a tendency to be rude when asked questions. I took his class online, and there were several instances where students asked questions about policies or where to find things in WebCT and were basically told to figure it out for themselves. His tests come directly from his lecture notes. You can exempt the final if you have a 95.

I really enjoyed taking Epps' sociology class, online. The book was interesting to read, and the assignments were not unreasonable. Occasionally the tests contained previously undiscussed material, however it wasn't frequent enough to affect my overall grade. I recommend Mr. Epps!

He was a great teacher and i had him online to boot. Very fair and concienctious and noe I love sociology. I would highly recommend him to students that are willing to do at least some of the work. You can guarantee a passing grade!!
