Dr. Smart is a great professor! He truly cares about his students and he is great at applying the concepts to real world situations. His exams are pretty easy if you attend class and take notes but if you don't do well visit his office hours and he often gives extra credit.

Horrible teacher. Don't know how he is department chair. Complex examples and talks alot. If you miss class you miss the notes. He does have PowerPoints but you can't really teach yourself because info that he wants to test students on is so unclear. Boring and highly advise against taking this teacher

Worst teacher ever! He is now the department head it is impossible to meet with him outside of class. If you do set up a meeting with him... he often is late or does not show up. Very unfair and unclear and does not let you get a word in. I am normally a straight A student and always have done well, and I have no idea what he is talking about.

BORING. way too many assignments for this being an intro class. i felt as if i were a psych major with the amount of work i did in this class. writing assignments every week, but we got online quizzes that we could take twice (and you know which questions you missed). exams were pretty tough. i would avoid him and make this teacher your last resort

I had a really hard time forcing myself to go to class. Really dull to listen to. He gives pop quizzes, which is why you should stay on top of reading and go to class, but you can usually fogure out his pattern by the end of the semester. I felt like he took pleasure out of tricking students and making really hard exams.
