Dr. DeReus is great professor. She works with you if you have a concern or problem regarding her course work. She does give a lot of papers, is a tough when it comes to grammer, but that is how many other college professor is. I suggest taking her, you will nor regret it.

De Reus is the best. Awesome lectures, keeps you interested every class. Work is moderately difficult and repetitive, but also really interesting. She cares for her students success and is awesome to talk to outside of class as well. I would highly recommend. I looked forward to every class. De Reus will not disappoint

Absolutely loved this class and Dr. De Reus. She does alot of amazing work outside on school.. very clear lectures and only gives quizzes, you'll pass if you take notes and look them over. Makes class interesting by engaging everyone in discussions. Would definitely take a class of hers again! Always there to help when you need it

Very down to earth teacher. Loves her job and really wants you to get an A. 7 quizzes 25 must. choice overtime and she tells you what will be on it. Mini in class activities worth 2.5 points and as a final she collects a newspaper notebook or research paper of your choice which is broken up into 3 parts to be handed in. (MEANT TO BE EASY)

Lee Ann is without a doubt the best professor I have had here at Altoona so far. Our women's studies class didn't even feel like an actual class, it was more like a break to be able to vent to her and have an enjoyable time with all the other girls in our class. The class required some work but wasn't overbearing, the reflection papers were easy.

Dr. De Reus is the best professor I have had yet at Penn State Altoona. She is very understanding and well experienced in her field. She is a great source for finding your major, and job opportunities. This women's studies class is eye opening and life changing! Although the class is reading intensive, keep up with the readings and reactions.

TAKE THIS CLASS WITH DR. DE REUS! I would refuse to take this class with any other professor. She is so cool and down to earth. Attendance isn't mandatory but if you come to class everyday you will get a good grade. She is fun and loves to help. Has great stories. The quizzes are all multiple choice; Half from the notes and half from the text book.

Awesome teacher that is very passionate about her subject area. She is very down to earth and makes class fun. Attendance is not mandatory, but it's a good idea to go because material on the quizzes comes from the notes AND the book. She gives review sessions the class before the tests that practically give you test questions.

Pretty easy class if you go to it.. Loads of easy points, no tests or final. Attendacne not mandatory but if you miss, you'll miss valuable notes... 8 quizzes and some projects make up the points but they are all easy. Some bonus offered too. Fun class, but I never went and got a D. So just go and it's an easy A or B

She's very nice and will always take extra time to help you with whatever you need & make sure you understand assignments. She'll even let you do a draft of the final paper if you are unsure about it.
