Very easy class and even though she has no attendance policy doesn't mean don't show up. only 8 A's in my class, mine being one of them. But all the people who did crappy were the dumb people who didn't come to class! you are paying for it, go to class! EASY! Westman spoon feeds it to you, but you still learn it! yay!

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR! She is extremely opinionated (with ridiculous viewpoints) and if you don’t agree with her way, you better be prepared for a horrible grade. You learn absolutely nothing from her class, except for her views on religion (which are insane). She is extremely prejudice, unfair, and unknowledgeable.

Really easy class. Quizzes are open book, open note, open neighbor (you can even ask her for the answer) and it's really easy to get a 10 on each paper as long as you bring up something she mentions in lecture. I actually did learn a lot too. If you're looking for an interesting elective to take, look no further.

Awesome class. The class is really easy. Do the work and you will get an A. All quizes are open note and open partner. Tests are completely multiple choice, but if you pay attention in class they are really easy. You have weekly papers, but if you put even the slightest effort in you will get all the points. She is a really fun teacher!

Westman is a great teacher! Her class is very interesting and has changed my view of film. Her notes are clear and if you study, you will do fine in her course. She is interested in you understanding concepts and not just if a film is funny/sad. I would highly recommend this course to any one!
