Comment:

I took Dr. Baron in a chemistry class for nonmajors and I would not recommend her. She is extremely kind and could be a great fit for some people, but she is extremely disorganized with the class homework. Our test study guide was not posted until 8pm the night before and this has repeatedly happened with other material as well.

Comment:

Meyet is far more levelheaded and structured. If you can go into tough, time-consuming classes and keep solid study habits and a schedule then she's who you want. Baron excels in more chaotic situations. If you've started falling apart she'll get you through. I had Meyet, but ended up spending way more time in Baron's office hours.

Very nice woman. Really cares about the students on a personal level. Her tests are often very difficult and she is very scatterbrained when she teaches. Often doesn't write down all the steps. Does give extra credit which saves the grade and she curves

Comment:

She is wonderful. She wants everyone to pass. She understand that we all need sleep and are very stressed as a whole. If you need an extension, she will give it to you. If you need literally ANYTHING, she will make it happen. I have never had a professor that genuinely cares so much. Her class is very hard but that is the subject, not her-TAKE HER!

She thinks very non-linearly and so she can be really hard to follow, but she's really inspiring because she loves organic chemistry so much. I don't know how she is with the upper classes, but she expected a lot of little detail that she said in her lectures that didn't seem important at the time, so write down EVERYTHING she says.

Dr. B is a very sweet lady. She is enthusiastic about her subject matter and she will always take time to work with you to understand. Her enthusiasm is contagious. On an occasion, she doesn't make sense, but I still think she is a great teacher and recommend her.

Dr. Baron is a very sweet professor who tries her best to help students, but sometimes it just doesn't get across even with the best of help. She tends to go pretty fast on many things and it is really difficult to keep up sometimes. Overall, very nice, but not the best lecturer.

Enthusiastic and kind of spastic, but she's very well meaning and her door is always open, day or night. Lists her home # on syllabus and isn't annoyed at all when you call her to ask for help. I think it would work better if she put it all on powerpoint, but overall she's a great professor - took her for 4 courses and i'd take her again anyday!

Enthusiastic, well meaning prof. Caters to Bio majors, not Chem. Usually a disaster in lecture. Disorganized. Goes too fast on key concepts. Expects you to know things she forgot to teach. Wants to Mother students, but thinks shes being sweet.. Her study session is essentially mandatory 4th lecture.. Gah! Loveable anyways, but not great prof.

She sometimes expects you to know some really random things that she never talked about in class. She can be junpy and enthusiastic in class and become moody and has a straight face when you go to her office and ask her question. She is not as helpful and as good as a professor . Dr.V is better
