Tests are extremely hard IF you dont go to class. If you study everything an extreme amount you will pass with a good grade. Listen to his lectures and write down his examples. I learned SO much about real world stuff in this class and I think everyone should be required to take this class. I cant imagine leaving auburn without taking this class.

Tests are hard so be sure to study them front to back and then a second time. You really do need to understand every ounce of this material to do well on the tests. . His jokes are for bonus on the tests so write those down. This class is very helpful for the real world so I would recommend it. You just have to work for a good grade.

His tests are half multiple choice and half short answer, but you have to fully understand the material to get good grade on the exams. His lectures are fill in the blank to his powerpoints, so it pays to go to class. Pay attention to his jokes he tells in class, they become the bonus points on the exam. Extra credit for going to class too..

Not a good teacher at all test problems are hard and nothing like the examples or end of chapter problems. Not clear on anything he says and it is almost pointless to go to class because all he seems to do is confuse you more but You need to go to get bonus points. Overall TERRIBLE teacher

Nice guy. Will answer any question asked. Go to class, take the outlined notes, and you will be fine. My only complaint is that the majority of the class is sslloowwwww....but the topics that are relevant in the real world are interesting and he focuses on them. Good class.

Colquitt is an absurd excuse for a teacher. Although class is interesting the tests are miserable. He will pick a spelling error and put it on the test. The was a very boring class and you never have to use your text. He makes the tests way more difficult than they should be. He takes attendance everyday and then scales the tests based on attendance. Easy B.

I dont know who keeps saying this class is an easy A, but they are seriously mistaken. I attended class daily and studied at least a week in advance for the tests and I have a low B in the course. The tests are so detailed and specific that there were only 2 As in the class on either test. Very nice guy but tests are very challenging!

His notes are in a fill in the blank packet and for tests you only have to study those. Don't buy the book. Make sure you take note of all of his examples because they show up on tests. Not an easy class but very interesting. Attendence adds points to your final grade and you need notes so its a bad choice to not go to class!War Eagle!

Colquitt's classes are not that bad. he is a super nice guy who really wants you to understand the material. You have to study pretty hard for the tests but you can easily achieve B or even A. From what ive heard, he is alot better than the other Finance teachers and he gives you extra points on the test just for going to class.

So he is a really nice guy, but a HORRIBLE teacher. He goes through the slides but does not do any problems until right before the test which I think is kind of useless. The tests aren't that bad, but the final is pretty tough.

I don't recommend this teacher. I took this class for a business elective thinking that it was an easy survey class. His exams are ruthless because he digs way to deep into the material. It helps to go to class to get the extra points in the end.

I don't recommend this teacher. Tests are very tricky. Class notes are the majority of info, but he managers to put minute details from the text in some questions. He has A LOT of short answer questions with answers HE thinks is right, and often does not give partial credit. Just b/c he's fun in class doesn't mean he's easy at all, seriously.

Do not buy the book. Go to class. Take good notes. Only need to study notes. EOY Project is very easy. Tests can be difficult because he is maticulous, even though the material is simple. He's enthusiastic so you won't get bored.
