One of the best professors I've had at NCSU! Great guy, passionate about the material, and always ready to help. Lectures are funny and helpful but can be long sometimes. Labs are like mini lectures with weekly homework. Do what the syllabus says (reading, problems, etc.) and you'll be golden.

Such a funny and down to earth guy. HIs lectures are entertaining. He uses Cengage which is really helpful when it comes to studying for exams. Just stay on track with lectures and online homework and you'll get an A.

Best professor I've ever had, hands down. His lectures make a subject as boring as econ become interesting and hilarious. He not only makes you actually want to come to the lectures, but he also does a great job of conveying the material. Great professor.

Professor Craig is a very nice and funny. His tests are fair and if you study the day before you should do fine. ECON is boring but he makes it a lot better.

Lee Craig is a pretty great guy. For non economics this class can be very daunting and economics can be very boring. However as head of the department and a pretty cool guy he makes a very boring class pretty fun and engaging. However that being said it doesn't mean you will coast through his class. If your not comfortable with the topics, READ.

I took him for 201, an intro class required by engineering, and he realized that no one really wanted to be there. He made class as interesting as he could, often joking about how no one really cared about economics. He taught with his hands with a new specific gesture for each concept. He talked to the front row and made fun of the back row. Fun

I only show up to his class because he makes economics as fun as you can make economics. Although attendance is optional, it helps to show up because he talks a lot aside from his power points and clarifies things well. I only use the book for practice questions and get by with low B's/high C's, but there's only a few quiz grades aside from exams.

He is best professor you could ask for the only reason his class is "difficult" is because he only has tests and a few quizzes that are online so if you don't have that many chances but none of it is really that hard. It is all off his power points and they are posted on Moodle. Take him fr! He is so funny and caring!

Best Professor you could ask for he is so funny and sweet!! Take him for real, he is very understanding and makes lectures bearable and will let you out early a lot of time. The test aren't bad just read his powerpoints over and do the few 5 Q online quizzes don't worry they are easy.

Very funny, helpful, and will work around office hours if necessary. Textbook is helpful but everything is covered in class. Lots of tangents, some of which are relevant. Graded mainly on tests; attendance taken randomly. Makes economics interesting, which is not easy.

Admitted econ was boring for most at beginning of the semester yet still made class interesting and fun. Great personality and let out early sometimes if the weather was nice out. You HAVE TO go to class to do well, even though attendance isn't mandatory. 3 tests, a homework grade, and final all weighed at 25 points equally with lowest dropped

Craig is a great professor who makes the lectures fun. The class only has 4 tests so it is easy to either ace the class or fail it. Make sure to go to the lectures because many test questions reference to things included in the lectures and not things in the book. Don't be fooled - the tests are more than just the study guides posted!

Took EC201. Class was easy. I never got the textbook. I can see how his lectures can be interesting to some but economics is not my thing. He just stands up there and talks. I would recommend finding something to do in class to avoid falling asleep. In my case, it was online poker and other homework. If you must take economics, take it with Lee.

One of my favorite professors so far. He knows that not everyone is very interested in economics, and tries his best to get the information to everyone in a fun way. Lectures are usually entertaining and grading was pretty lenient.

Lee Craig is the MAN. Only have 5 grades, he drops the lowest which could be the final. I rarely attended class, just read the book the night before the test and did fine. If you do go to his lectures they are content dry but he makes jokes the whole time so it is entertaining. He is a solid teacher and would 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Craig's lecture was a huge class. It was sometimes difficult to understand his lectures, so reading the textbook was extremely necessary. He drops the lowest test grade. He gave 3 tests and a final exam, but the third test and final were taken on the same day, which was not ideal.

Dr. Craig makes economics easy and boring. I would suggest everyone to take his class regardless of requirements. He gives plenty of examples for each topic in the lectures, even deciphering WSJ articles on the projector. Makes plenty of jokes, makes economics easy to understand. If someone doesn't do well in his class, it is their own fault.
