Great teacher he's really a unique guy and I like his teaching style. I found him to be pretty easy especially when it came to tests. He was very forgiving. I look forward to classes with him as a teacher mostly because he's so different/genuine and I love his teaching style.

Great Guy. I graduated way back in the 90s. He is the person that all the professionals in the area go to for help when working on their doctorates. Very scholarly. You really have to work hard and go the extra mile in his classes to get an A. He has an odd sense of humor that takes some getting used to, but we like him.

Teply is great. He really knows his stuff and is an effective teacher. You really get what you put into this class. Practice the music and you'll do really well. Don't practice, and you are going to struggle and be embarrassed in class.

Definitely one of the best teachers around. No one in the world knows more about music theory. Also, the man has perfect pitch. Hes amazing. Be prepared for class and be on time. He will be very generous as long as students are willing to work hard.
