uses old school transparency projector with terrible handwriting. very boring and monotonous lectures. seems intimidated and scared of everyone, does not look anyone in the eyes when talking. SPSS is barely used, would have loved to work in that more since that is what you use for Advanced Research. tests are hard. tough class

Dr. Williams is a great professor and deserves respect. The people who complain about his classes are either: a) lazy or b) dumb. The class literally involves writing notes from an overhead. Is that really so much to ask? His tests are exactly what he teaches in class. Stop complaining and pay attention: the key to earning an A in his classes.

Ok, Rowan needs to fire him, seriously. He sucks as a teacher and should just go away. His exams are not what he talks about in class, and NO ONE gets full credit on his open ended questions.DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!Oh! he also abbreviates EVERYTHING in the notes to the point that you don't know what he is talking about!

i had him for cognitive psych and statistics and research methods, he lectures the entire time, is a little boring, but a good guy. the tests for cognitive were hard and sometimes the highest grade was a B, but he took off unfair questions and would try to clarify anything he could. he's boring but a good teacher.

Prof.Williams teaches everything on overhead slides.Can be very boring but he is very clear.The only reason I did well in this class is b/c he goes through the material so slowly.He tells you exactly what will be on the test.Read and do hw and you will pass.No problem

I had him for Cognitive Psychology. He sure knew how to make the class as boring as possible. This guy is as interesting as a pile of bricks. I found it impossible not to zone out to his monotone voice. He drags on and on soooooo slowly. I would never take him again, TOO boring.

You never have to go to class if there is someone you can get the notes from. All you do every single day is take notes. Tests are SO hard and they make your ENTIRE grade. Only 2 other things besides tests and they are only worth 50 pts combine. Can do a 9 pt. extra credit. Grades you fair though,if u show up and show interest, he will bump you

Dr. Williams is so very clear with his notes and instruction. You know exactly what will be covered on the tests and if you do all of the assigned homework + more it definitely helps with learning the info. He provides all of the formulas on the board for the tests. He doesn't like to be interrupted during class but otherwise he is a must take!

I totally agree with the previous post. Williams told me to participate more...then when I constantly raised my hand he refused to call on me. Don't know what the logic of that is but hey, I'm just glad to be out of his class. Don't take him if you want to succeed in life.

hated him, totally unfair. i was constantly raising my hand, and he never wanted to call on me- then he graded me ridiculously low on participation and i ended up with a B for the semester. one of those profs that does messed up things just because he can. ughhhhhh. jerk.

I liked Dr. Williams a lot. I was scared of this class, but once I starting taking it, it was cake. He explains things so well and repeatitively, that if you don't understand, you need to get out of college. Tests weren't bad. Get to the board, and ask questions. Being active helps in grading.
