I put off taking English and dropped it once before until I found this class. He is so kind and thoughtful. He wants you to succeed and will help you with detailed feedback. I appreciated his teaching style with lots of examples and clear expectations.

Comment:

This instructor was one of the best I've taken in the past 2years. I learned how to become a better writer than I was. I took him for summer and I would highly recommend his class in Eng. 2. He so sweet and if you attend all classes and do all the homework you'll pass. It can be a little heavy in the work, but if you stay caught up you will pass.

I took this class over the summer and I'm so glad that I did. I did well on all my papers. This is a very good class and a super kind professor. If you skip class, if you submit things late you won't pass. Stay true to his detailed syllabus and I'm sure you'll do just fine :)

I took this class over the summer. There was a lot of homework, but it usually was short and very easy. He has a hard time lecturing to the class. Eye contact is seldom and he usually stares into whatever papers he has on his desk when he speaks to the class.

Prof Bailey is a great English teacher, I took his class during the summer so there was a lot of homework but the papers weren't ridiculously long. He definitely gives feedback and always answers questions so if you get lost or behind just tell him. It was a tough summer course but nothing too advanced he expects improvement more than anything.

Took Lenny Bailey for summer, and it was worth it. Yes, summer was long, but the fact that he has a plan for the day it made class fast. If you are looking for an ENG 2 class take him for summer, instead of the regular semester. So worth it. Just an extra class to get off your shoulder and open more classes for the regular semester.

I loved Mr. Baileys class! He is one of my favorite instructors. I am trying to get into another of his classes. The more you participate in class the better. He really likes to hear what you have to say and you can see how interested he is in your input. Mr. Bailey always made me laugh. Great instructor!

Professor Bailey is the best English teacher you can have. He has his best interest in your education and focuses on improving your writing. He isn't a teacher that hates teaching which I've had before. Very articulate and inspiring. I would recommend him if you want to learn the Art of Writing. Overall great class!!!!

I LOVED!!! His methods and form. He used student examples, text, and draft writing to improve writing for final grades. It was a summer course, so it required showing up and completing work-duh! He really worked with students-so what! he is a flat speaker and reserved. He is genuine and a great instructor. I learned so much from the class.

hated this class!! like most other have mentioned his voice is extremely monotone so i wouldn't recommend taking this as a morning class like i did. only gave us a about 10 days to work on our final essay which was a load of crap...

his voice was EXTREMELY monotone. that was my biggest problem with him. His class is not difficult unless you miss a few classes because it is easy to fall behind if you dont keep up. if you are a good essay writer/enjoy writing essays, then the content shouldnt be too difficult. just be prepared for a snoozefest
