His lectures were very helpful for understanding how the algorithms worked, as he would walk us through both the graphical representations as well as the actual code. The exams are exactly like the study guides, which he goes over during class. We didn't make much use of the textbook, however, so either attend class or frequent Stack Overflow.

Very nice. Extends program deadlines if multiple students asked for it. Not many programs and is all doable. 2 exams, both look like the study guides. Couple of quizzes, but are mostly terms. Knows the material very well and can answer questions very well. Lecture heavy but he explains it all well. Very helpful, make sure to ask for help needed.

Well I'd say that his class is definitely easy. He is very flexible with deadlines, but that's for a reason. He can teach you the concepts all day and visually they make sense, but once you go to coding projects, let's hope you know your way around the internet, because he doesn't explain the code very well. Other than that he gives study guides.

Very good programmer compared to some of the other cis teachers. Knows a great deal about the subject. This course is the fisrt introduction to programming, so it can be a bit tough. If you have to take this course take this taecher. You will thank me later. Also go to him when you have a problem don't wait.

All he ever does is laugh and giggle in class! Does not know how to code at all, let alone teach it. An absolutely useless teacher. Would be a better English teacher, definitely not CIS!!

Mr. Denton is very intellegent and knows the material. Unfortunatly, he teaches by writing code, but does not explain the code. Also, he grade too easily to be taken seriously.
