He seems very tough and not interested in being there, but if you go talk to him and pay attention to his syllabus you will be just fine. Its a tough class to begin with and he really wants you to know your information and isnt going to just let you slide by. He is there his office hours and is willing to help you or answer questions!!!

he is the hardest most uncaring teacher! if you are going to be a minute late you may as well not even go to class! he needs to be teaching chemistry which he seems to enjoy more. If you get him for ap 1 i recommend you change teachers fast if you wanna pass this class with a decent grade.

Not only is this a really hard class in general, he tries to make the tests as difficult as possible so that you "really learn." That would be fine if he were a more organized and clear teacher.

I thought Dr Johnson was great. He tells you everything that is going to be on the test and is very willing to help. The subject matter is hard and the people that rate him poorly are big babies that want everything handed to them on a platter.

This class is easy... if you have no life outside school and this is your only class to study for. Be prepared for very hard tests and no extra credit. This was by far the hardest professor that I have ever taken. This is one of those classes where only about 1/4 of the students will be left at the end of the semester. Get another professor!

Let's just say that no DENTIST should ever teach human anatomy. Talk to other staff members like Ross in the Sci. Center; ask them what a dentist knows about the specific fxn individual penile glands. Oh, God forbid you ever have a question or need more time to copy his prehistoric OVERHEAD notes that you can barely read! transfer ASAP to Hirtzel!

By far the worst teacher I have ever had. He has mental problems, hates females, and is extramly rude and should have never been allowed to teach. I wish he would go back to fixing busted grills! DO NOT TAKE HIM

I hate to be negative, but I must agree with the comments here. His tests are rather difficult compared to other professors. I had a 4.0 before his class...not anymore! Even when I put all of my effort into studying, I could only achieve a B! Don't get me wrong, knowledge is great, but it's not worth it at the cost of my GPA and scholarships.

I took his class and I found him to be rude and very much against women w/knowledge. I can't believe the college allows him to still teach. I don't think a Prof. should be allowed to down students the way that he does. Good luck to anyone who takes his class. FYI, DON'T!!

RUN FOR COVER!! This has to be one of the worst profs i've ever encountered. The good news is dropped him fast. I would suggest dropping this course and begging anyone else to let you in their class. I love the speed at which he writes. REPEAT DROP NOW THINK ABOUT IT LATER!

I loved his class! I took it during the summer. He is funny... his little stories are great. If he says anything twice... it's on the test. If he says "not sure why this is in my notes"... it's on the test. His class is mostly memorization. Learn the bonus stuff before the 1st test... you need it.

He gives you exactly what will be on the test-just memorize, memorize, memorize! I finished the class with a 96%... trust me, you can do it! Dedicate yourself and it is possible. He is helpful, just make sure you are prepared with concise questions. I would take another class with him.

Not so bad. I made an A if I can do it trust me anyone can! However, this was the only class I took for the semester. He tells you everything you need to know proir to the test. Since, 30 to 40 points of his tests are essays questions you must have good memorization skills to make it in his class.

This class is tough. I found the info over-whelming at times, mostly because it was new material. The notes used were indeed dated however the information was there. This class is not one for whimps. It truly requires dedication. The man tells you exactly what you need to know. Learn IT.

I had a 4.0 until I took his class, and got a C. He is arrogant, and seems to be showing off how smart he is rather than helping the students to gain knowledge. I would definitely reconsider taking this professor. I wish I had taken Steve Kash instead.

For your own good, DO NOT take his class! Had a 4.0 GPA-not anymore. Doesn't explain anything AT ALL! Notes horrible. Shouldn't teach this class. Not that helpful. Has essay questions on tests, which is majority of test grade-need to memorize word for word-can easily fail.
