Sharp, extremely competant, but almost machine-like lecture style. One of the most memorable profs I had over the years. A true credit to his department. I would like to take a couple courses at Fairfield again, just as a refresher, to see where I am relative to students today who are probably technical wizards compared to the pre-laptop days...

Nice guy, approachable, and really knows his stuff. Every book you read you either read in high school or is about some middle class business man who is unhappy with his life. Pretty dull. The class doesn't really keep interest. Have a final review or else it will be a bunch of things you never went over/heard of.

great old guy, really knows his history and literature, the only thing is you MUST read all of the books, you cannot sparknote and get away with it because he asks veryyyy detailed questions on the quizzes. final exam was also hard, if you study a lot you'll be fine

Man I can't stand him even though easy quiz each week on the Sparknotes I read instead... cancelled the paper because he didn't want to read it. For $35,000 a year, this guy doesn't give a crap about you, the class, or your mental state, because he will drive you nuts. RUN AWAY!
