He rambles a lot, and can be boring. He's a little wacky, but definitely loves the subject. The class he teaches is more about a conceptual understanding than a mathematical one. He grades pretty easy, labs and homework are basically a given 00%. Tests not so much, but he lets you have a cheat sheet for every one.

Not good. Doesn't talk about the material in a meaningful way, and doesn't explain anything or talk about how to do problems. He just blabs about nothing. And he assigned a textbook that isn't published yet, so it's in a binder, but his friend wrote it, so we're basically proofing it, which is a waste of time, since it's not a good book.

Worst teacher ever. He shows up about 15 minutes late everyday, not that it matters, because the time that he is there is spent writing illegible nonsense on the board, often unproved equations, then playing with them and arriving at a new equation, which isn't the right answer, cuz there is no answer, he was just playing with it for no reason!

One of my favorite classes.We did the math & discussed the philosophy.He brings his excitement to the material...sometimes that takes him on a tangent.Very nice guy,shows concern for students. His lectures aren't as structured as some,they are more like discussions...but some learn better that way.
