fall 2012, nights, miramar,Stickler "for her way" in essay questions, which I found ridiculously stupid. Very helpful and positive towards those with stage fright. Helps bust up stage fright by forcing everyone to speak, practice your speech and hit your timing marks and you'll get a A or B.

Took her online and not bad. She is a little ridiculous with her syllabus and instructions, she needs to chill out a bit. Complains about typos but makes many of them. Class was interesting and I learned a lot, but book was outdated. Make sure you read everything and do all the assignments, there is a lot of writing. Tests are REALLY hard.

Difficult class. Slacker beware. Read the text and keep up with writing assignments or you WILL receive a poor grade. Proper English and grammar are required (as this is a college course) She will dock points severely if proper formatting is not followed. I learned a lot and loved the class.

Absurdly convoluted instructions. Very slow to grade papers, keeping you from being able to address whatever she considers 'errors'. Not very bright, but a stickler for her rules. Avoid at all costs.

Too few assignments and exams, so there are not many chances for you to bring up your grade. There are 2 exams and like 3 assignments, so if you dont excel on all of them, you will probably fail. Her anti-plagerism tool is ridiculous. You have to turn in your assignment 24 hours BEFORE it is actually due.

Professor took over a month to grade papers. Treated students poorly and was very rude. Text for this class is outdated i.e. yahoo was the #1 search engine in the book (circa 2002). Class started out with 20 some students and finished with just 8 taking the final and the average was 65%. Do not take this class if you expect to learn and be taught.

Not always clear about exact requirements for assign given but is accessible/willing to discuss questions students have. If you can get on her good side- your grades will be better. She can come across really rude at times especially to ESL students. Tests are easy- ask her for help BEFORE your speeches!

This woman worries more about APA style and grammer then the actual required content. FYI she does not even follow APA format herself! Refuses to help students with common concerns on how to excess in the class and grades too late to understand corrections in which could be made to improve future assignments within her class. Horrible professor, no help from her, very tough quizzes (8 chap each - big questions & 75 mins is very less). Though you get all your papers corrected by Net Tutor, her comment is "horrible grammar". After doctorate, people will become intelligent but she has become saddist. Overall, feedback neither improves her attitude or her work style.

I have taken many classes and this was the worst! Took this class online. Slow grader, too focused on APA style to judge content, and unresponsive to questions. Once you receive your first grade, it's too late to drop the class. Tests are poorly prepared and impossible to excel on. DON'T TAKE THIS TEACHER! If you do, you'll regret it later.

Instructor apparently worried that students would use this class as a elective, just for the three units. Ms. Klipper has made her online class difficult to deter slouchers. Assignments are relatively easy, but good writing skills are needed. The two tests are extremely hard, and are timed closed book tests. You heard right. Fun class, Yom Klipper!

THIS TEACHER GRADES SLOWER THAN A SNAIL! Took her online course. She grades the papers so late that we can not improve our writing skills for the next assignment. This is totally unfair to the students in case they need to drop the course before the deadline.

I could not withdraw--it was too late. This was a total disappointment! Her tests were impossible to past. Over 500 pages with no direction on what to study for. DO NOT TAKE

Took her course online. Very picky. Required Helvitica font for online postings, and by the way, the web program she used did not support it, but she wouldn't budge. Not very helpful with questions -- couldn't get clear answer. Tests are impossible in time limit - questions are verbatim from textbook, so you need a photographic memory to do well.
