She gives the concept of "psychology as a science" a bad name. All she does is teach her opinions as if they were fact. She is also not very professional (late to class, disorganized, inappropriate). Big thumbs down.

She does not convey the info logically; she rambles and rants. She is completely irresponsible and unprofessional. When she comes, its late and leaves very early. She complains about her work, and praises herself and her private practice all the time. She does not like the observant Jews, (though maybe bc this semester some complained too much.)

This professor is horrible stay away!!!!! She hardly shows up to class comes late or leaves early on a daily basis. Her TA takes the heat for this which isn't far. She gave a test with 89 questions didn't show up for the test the class was made and didn't show up the day after the test. She totally not flexible about anything.

Amazing!!!! knows her info inside out. Is very enthusiastic in teaching, and brings the class to life. I love the fact that she uses her patients as examples, and very realistic. She also provides some healthy life lessons in there too. Im telling you, it cant get any better. Will continue taking her.

PROFESSOR STEVENS IS ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSORS I EVER HAD! SHE IS VERY CLEAR ABOUT WHAT SHE IS TEACHING AND SHE KNOWS HER STUFF REALLY WELL. SHE MAKES THE CLASS INTERESTING AND YOU ACTUALLY LEARN. ONLY 4 TESTS AND A PAPER BUT THEY'RE REALLY EASY IF YOU PAY ATTENTION. I AM NOW A PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR BECAUSE OF HER. GREAT PROFESSOR HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.

As a professor, she DOES know her stuff and is very smart. Her personal life stories mostly relate to the class. She gives straight-up lectures, not much room for discussion. Basically no HW, 1 short assignment, 4 exams that you do need to study for. Just pay attn. in class and you'll be fine. Fun class imo. BUT NOT recc. for serious psych majors!
