I took Childhood and Adolescence with Dr. Templeton my first semester of college. While I wouldn't recommend a class with this prof your first year of college, I would for the following years; it was simultaneously the hardest course I've ever taken and the best course I've ever taken. I LOVED going to her lectures, worth it even with tough tests.

Templeton intimidates people, but she's an awesome prof. Talk to her if you're having problems; she's nicer than she appears, she just has little patience if you aren't prepared for class. Her lectures are hilarious. History & Systems is tough class b/c of the amount of info; make flashcards early and you'll be fine.

I adore Dr. Templeton. Her class was interesting and engaging. I love the topic. HOWEVER, the only grades we received in her class were Tests. I am a terrible test taker so this really didn't work well for me. I worked with her to do the best I could, but it was a struggle. I recommend her for those who can handle hard tests.

A truely talented teacher! Not only does she engage you in the material with her lively lectures, she makes her expectations of you very clear before assignments are due. I especially recommend her for Research Methods. Trust me, it will make your upper level psychology classes seem like a piece of cake. Of course chocolate cake.

Templeton is amazing, seriously she makes you want to major in psychology. Her classes are so interesting and lively. She is very sarcastic, but at the same time she is really nice when you talk to her one on one. I would highly, highly recommend her developmental class

I loved the class, but didn't do too well because the tests were so difficult. Very interesting material, but must know every term by heart as well as all of the studies mentioned, any student presentations made in class, and any films watched in class. Still, loved the class.

Templeton was the biggest nightmare of a teacher I have experienced at Hendrix thus far. Made a simple class something nearly impossible to do well in. One of the most rude people I have ever met, although it is funny in a way that she likes to make people squirm.

This class is SO interesting and Dr. Tempelton actually kept me awake even early in the morning. She is very funny and always has interesting things to say. Very intimidating when you are giving presentations though. Dont be fooled by how easy the first test is... The next few are very hard unless you memorize the textbook!

I love Dr. Templeton. She's hard core and intimidating, but in a really good way. I know that's a little confusing, but she's a great teacher and definitely knows her stuff. Reading assignments are appropriate for the subject and in class she is very clear and easy to understand. I loved her class and I wish I could take more.

This is the hottest professor on campus. Definitly liked to see people cry, and was a tough teacher. However, I learned a whole lot in her classes and was challenged to learn more.
