I took Mass Communications (WEB/online) with Professor McGlone. She is really friendly and responds to emails in a timely manner. She was very clear with the grading criteria stuck to the calendar/schedule throughout the semester, I would highly recommend one of her courses.

Very easy going. Class is not overwhelming or difficult by any means and is even quite interesting at the end of the day. Work is laid out and easy to track down and professor is also easy to get a hold of. Professor is also very understanding and will do whatever can be done to assist students. Overall, class was a pleasure

Comment:

Professor McGlone is such a great instructor. As a high school student taking college classes, I was definitely intimidated at first. However, she left me great feedback that helped me pass the course with a 4.00 GPA in my assignments. Taking another course from her in the fall. If you study and work at your very best, this course is an easy A.

I took two of her online comm classes over the summer and both followed the exact same template and work. As long as you stay on top of the discussion board posts and Connect homework, the classes are fairly easy. She outlines everything you need to know in the syllabus and is very direct. Recommend if you need some comm credits.

Comment:

I had Professor McGlone for an online communications class. I did not want to take the in-class course because I hate public speaking but the online class wasn't any easier. You were expected to have 5 people present for each speech which wasn't always do able. She took off silly points and gave the same feedback for every speech.

TERRIBLE I don't recommend this instructor whether it is your major or not. Far too much work for the work at hand with little to learn. I don't mind a difficult class if I actually learn something, but I did not. Assignments are unreasonable & the discussions set you up for failure. If you do it the day before, you have no chance at getting 100%

Class was pretty straightforward. Discussions were pretty easy and the topics took little to no time to research. The quizzes are also fairly simple. Only annoying part are the 50+ questions you have to answer after you read the material in the online book. Mrs. McGlone was quick to reply to emails and updated her announcements frequently. Easy A.

Mrs. McGlone is a great professor. She is clear cut on what she wants for the assignments. There is a discussion board and a quiz every week along with 1 exam and 1 paper. I took this course online. The class is easy and great for an easy A. I recommend this professor in a heart beat. I would take again!!

Horrible Professor. Very unclear and not helpful at all. Will not respond to your e-mails. DO NOT take her if you want to enjoy your communications class or learn anything. She should not even be considered a professor. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

I had the misfortune of taking two of her online classes at once. She is totally useless. She posted one announcement at the beginning and I never heard from her again. Doesnt respond to emails and the course load per class was totally ridiculous. To top it all off, the online finals were due the day after thanksgiving. Avoid her at all costs

I took her speech class online. First off she does not give any feedback on your speeches, so you do not know what to correct. secondly, her grading is all over the place. Also, after being sick and having a doctors note, she would not let me make up an assignment or do extra credit. she is horrible at responding to emails. speech is not life!

I took this class online. She seemed very nice and helpful by giving frequent reminders. She gives good criticizem on your speeches, but I felt a little unaware of what she specifically wanted, her signals seemed mixed. She's hard to read. Wouldn't steer you away from her class though.

I think Libby was very nice and loved her attitude! She was a great teacher and I would recommend her to anyone! There are 3 major speeches which are graded pretty hard, but keep in mind this is a SPEECH class.

Professor? I have a PhD from a top European Uni and this 'teacher-at best' is incomprehensible. She should NOT be teaching anything - not even ABC's to preschoolers. Not to mention, after attending six universities in my academic career (one can imagine how many prof's I have had): She gets 'WORSE' teacher and worse syllabus award.
