In the beginning it was hard figuring out his accent but got used to it. His class was very easy. I am not a math person but managed to get a A in his class. This might be a disservice to you since his class is exactly what shows up on interview questions. Be sure to supplement with outside stuff!

Topic is interesting (graphics!), but the lectures are dry and unhelpful. I think most people just skipped class and read the textbook. I recommend staying away from this class; if you want to learn graphics, go take a Udacity or Coursera class.

Went through material very quickly but the amount of extra credit really raised my grade. TA was not too hard of a grader though so I still don't feel like I really understand everything. Assignments were about every two weeks so start early and keep on top of them.

Easiest CS class I have ever taken in three years. There is so much extra credit on his exams that it's almost impossible to get below a B+ in this class. HIGHLY recommend taking Algorithms with him.

He's a genius but doesn't communicate well. The lectures are not very clear and very dry. The material is difficult. The assignments are where you will do most of your learning and they are hard. He is an easy grader, I suspect because otherwise everyone would fail the class and he wouldn't be able to do his research anymore.

Learn Chinese before you go in this class, because he doesnt speak english. Dude is mad smart, he is part of the MPEG-4 group, does ill research, but cant teach. If you get to know him he will probably use you for his own interests.
