Dr. Holsey does not know the material that she is teaching at all. She does not provide rubrics in graded material and therefore takes off random points for no reason. She messed up my test grade and failed me until I brought it to her attention that she graded it wrong! My grade went up 20 point, how can a prof make that big of a mistake?!

DR. HOLSEY IS A JOKE! This class is about feedback and assessment and we didn't receive feedback on an assignment all semester! She rarely responds to emails and her postings are practically incomprehensible. The worst part is you cant avoid her in grad school and no one can seem to do anything about her. She does not belong in education!

Dr. Holsey is extremely unclear in her instruction and assignments. She did not answer questions effectively. She had no idea they changed the text being sold which implies she recycles old lessons and isn't interested in keeping her material fresh and up to date. I will try my best to not have any more of her classes.

Really nice professor but the lack of clarity sometimes made assignments and quizzes difficult. Quiz questions were sometimes unclear which sometimes hurt but she was good about throwing questions out if alot missed them. She also curved grades which helped.

She is hard because she does not explain herself very well. When she assigns work she does not give well enough explanations to help you understand what you are suppose to do. You stay lost the whole semester because you never know what you are suppose to do.

Get this-she is a Dist Ed teacher,and she will only answer emails during her office hours.Its not fair that her classroom students get the oppt to ask questions,but not her dist ed students,because if shehas a meeting,or a phone call during her office hours,forget your email!Point blank-shesucks!

For someone with a PHD... what a waste! Imagine this, she is suppose to be teaching "us" how to become effective teachers... Okay. She cannot communicate clearly herself. Slow at grading and presents confusing material for us to follow. Sad Sad

pretty easy class, teacher is helpful, gives pop quizes after assigned readings (so READ!), lots of assignments to help with grade, gives extra credit occasionally. Got an A, so I can't complain much...
