Take this class if you don't want you actually learn Spanish, but need an easy A to boost your GPA. She canceled at least 2 weeks worth of classes for field trips and we spent a lot of time not doing anything during lecture. tons of typos on her hand outs and gives the responsibility of speaking to the class to a TA instead of using blackboard.

The class is pretty much just going over homework with actually learning the material at the end of class. Missed an entire chapter of material because she did not schedule the course well. Easy class if you already know Spanish, but do not take her if you plan on taking other Spanish classes.

First 10 mins of class is spent waiting for her to show up, students are ALWAYS talking over her, her lectures are extremely confusing and she's goes over the homework the majority of the class. Terrible at teaching , the only reason I passed was from remembering what I learned in high school. Definitely an easy A and feel free to leave at break.

Really good teacher. Not only do you learn about the Spanish language, but the culture as well. It was never a boring class. Offers numerous extra credit opportunities and is a fair grader. I strongly recommend her for Spanish.

She was always very helpful and clearly ENJOYS teaching. She is also very knowledgeable both about the material, content, and the way students learn a different language. Do your homework and come to class (unless you have a very good reason to miss) and participate, and you will be fine. You might even grow to love the language like I did.

She was a good teacher. Her class is an easy A if you just pay attention and ask her questions. I missed probably 5 days and was fine in the class. it was basically an exercise of Spanish I already knew, I didnt learn much new material.

This class has a cultural immersion element. You will learn about Dia De Los Muertos and Las Roscas as well as other interesting facts about Latin countries. She is very nice and understanding. If you go to class and do the homework you will learn Spanish. There are hands on activities as well as outside assignments. This is a fun class.

In this class the professor teaches about cultural aspects about Latin countries that one would not get in a regular class. You will learn about Dia De Los Muertos and Las Roscas. If you come to class and pay attention to the homework you will learn Spanish. The Professor is nice and understanding. She sends e-mail reminders to update students.

She is disorganized and unclear in her teaching. In a two hour class, we spend the fist 10 minutes waiting for her to show up, an hour reviewing the hw, and maybe 30 minutes on a concept before moving on and ending class early. You're lucky if you get to say more than three words in Spanish. AVOID HER CLASS - It's a waste of time and money!

She is the worst Span teacher I have ever had. She is actually making my language skills worse. She teaches you nothing, explains nothing, and then provides no explanation for bad grades. She makes simple things, like verb conjugation, more complicated than needed. AVOID HER CLASSES!

She is TERRIBLE. The absolute WORST teacher I have ever had. She is useless. She doesn't explain anything clearly & I feel like I learned NOTHING in her class, making it a total waste of my time & money. She rarely provides hand-outs, her accent is poor, and she speaks too quickly to be understood. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

I didnt care about learning spanish and just wanted to get out and I got a B. Nice teacher and knows a lot about the culture of mexico, I learned more about mexico than I did the actual language.

I missed a few assignments, about two weeks and slacked off towards the end of the semester and got a B. I would recommend her for a great grade not if want to learn the language.
