I had this class once a week. It is tough to sit and listen to anyone lecture for 4 hours straight, moreso when they get carried away on random off-subject rants. If you pay attention, she will spell out each essay for you. Face it, you have to take 1B ... and it could be worse. She's nice.

I had this class once a week and it was so boring. She goes off topic so much. You can do well on the essays if you write what she says. She basically tells you everything to write on them. I dont recomend takint english with her.

Easy A if you just write whatever she wants. Do the block writing with huge paragraphs and she would be happy. Advise -- take a recorder, record her and just type it in you composition. She is REALLY boring. Never use ideas of your own or you would not pass this class.

Did not enjoy this class whatsoever! Ridiculous reading assigned. Impossible to get A's on papers. I would have a 4.0 @ DeAnza if not for the B- she gave me. I put tons of work into this class, but didn't get the grade I deserved! =(

She chooses favorites. She made me feel dumb when I shared ideas that differed from hers. I have earned A's in every class I've taken BUT hers. I worked hard but did not make the grade I deserved. She talks to students as though they are children. :(
