Comment:

It's a math class, so of course you're gonna have to put in the work to get a good grade. With that being said, Prof. Becerra is my favorite math teacher I've ever taken! She explains the material very well, she goes slow, and is very open to answering questions. Her tests are problems done in class & from webassign. Take her!!!

Linda Becerra worst professor I've ever had in my whole college career!! The lectures are extremely boring and long. She uses up every single second of class. Her lectures can be so confusing, please do not believe any recommendations on here that say shes amazing because its a lie. I'm sure shes a nice person, but awful teacher.

Dr. Becerra is a very great math professor. She is really caring and she can give extra time on homework if she sees that the class is struggling. She gives you great feedback on her tests. She also goes slow for students that need more time to process the information. Use her notes and print them out. They help a lot during and after class.

The most boring class I've ever taken. If you are the type of person that would get distracted easily, this class will be your worst option. Do not take her if you have a choice. Her exams are not too hard but also not easy. she gives webassign homework every week.

A little bit strange, but overall a really good professor. The math lab is super helpful with homework. Her test are super based on her lectures. Gives a ton of extra credit.

She goes at a nice slow pace and gives lots of examples. Posts all notes online before class so you have them with. She gives you a lot of opportunities to succeed. She has two averages one with HW and one with just the test and she picks the highest. She also does Calculus currency which you can turn in at the end of the year for extra points.

One of the Best Professor UHD has to offer. This Professor has a genuine interest for her students and subject. Expect Mymathlab homework and 3 tests and a final. Overall just practice the exercises and read the detailed notes she provides.

Took her for calc 1. Basically do ur hw. Dont need to know difficult problem from hw. Know up to moderate level. Go to si for test correction so you dont miss same question on final exam. Start ur hw early and practice practice.

Professor Becerra is really nice. She does give homework and quizzes but they are online. She also gives in-class work. However, her work is easy and not to difficult to understand. There are three exams and one final exam. the course overall is very easy as long as you come to class and pay attention. Professor Becerra will help you if you need it

I love this professor. I took her for both Linear and Calc I and I aced both classes. She is very clear in her lectures and she offers so much material for her students. I don't understand how you cannot pass. Her tests are challenging, but if you put effort then you will pass. All homework is online, but she gives you a lot of time to complete.

Took in Fall 2013 for a basic Intro to College Algebra credit. The course work isn't terrible, but you can't hear what she's saying. This woman is old as dirt with the voice of a rat fart. She whispers in lecture and I usually ended up falling asleep. ONLY TAKE IF YOU ARE ALREADY GOOD AT MATH. Easy A

One of the best math professors I've ever had. This class isn't an easy A, but she will explain the material expertly. Her lectures will make you understand, but if you don't, she's always happy to help you. Awesome professor!

Professor Becerra, Did very long lectures, sometimes crammed too much information into one class. If you don't keep up with the math lab assignments you won't pass, if you fail any test you won't pass. Her grading criteria is very tough. She doesn't curve or give extra points for any assignments.

I loved this class. She is a great teacher. Homework is online. She is monotone, but very clear. There are class activities that count toward your grade and attendance. Her lectures are very helpful. I suggest you print her notes and take to class to write your own notes on. It is helpful when studying for a test.

Overall great teacher! She is very helpful and clear.Wants you to learn while you are in class. You have to be awake, she will often ask questions and do class activities.Besides that her notes are very helpful and neat. You need to put effort and study. Doing homework problems helps a lot. It's not impossible to get an A, but you have to earn it.
