Campbell sucks. She gives assignments that cost $200+ and take all your time. She is also harsh in her grading, and makes you do all sorts of extra assignments outside of the photo assignments she has already given. Expect to spend a fortune and get used to having no time for your other classes if you take Campbell.

This class involved way more work than other teachers gave who taught it. She does give study guides and if you study them you'll be fine, but they are HUGE. She jumped around and it often wasn't clear how all she said connected to art. She repeated the same information over and over, making class boring. I wouldn't recommend taking her.

She is very nice and pretty funny. She is really sweet but a little off the wall. 3 tests all year that she gives you helpful study guides to. Take a lot of notes and it is hard to stay awake sometimes but I would definately recommend this class and this teacher. Grade=A.

This is a pretty easy class. She's a sweet lady, and sometimes made me laugh. She's very clear and teaches so that you will understand. I agree, that her study guides are very helpful. JUST STUDY! She does have trouble operating the videos & slides, but that just makes you laugh. I reccommend her.

Very good teacher IMO. She taught so that you understood the material without having to study too hard. Her study guides are awesome-basicly dont have to take notes. Very helpful as far as projects, questions, and goes out of her way to help us out. Really makes a boring subject interesting, but you have to be willing to meet her half way. GREAT!

Kathleen is the only photo professor who ever pushed me to exceed my expectations of myself. She tells you what you'll hear when you get out of school and take your work to a gallery. It might be hard to hear, but at least it's a reality check.

Worst teacher i have ever had. Do not take her unless you want to loose IQ points. Senile and mean are her defining traits. On top of being boring, she makes outrageous claims like "Western society is the only culture to have philosophy".

She is never clear as to what she wants on project until after you do it. But she is willing to help you if you stay after. If you get lost ask questions but also get a couple of friend in the class so you can ask them whats going on.

i dropped this class within a few weeks. she's terrible, offers no good advice, gives out confusing assignments, enforces strict attendance and deadline policies, doesn't even seem to know your talking to her when you go for help, emails extra directions

yeah she was really hard... i think she was hard on our class because we are not art majors (class required for ed. majors) so we didn't know much about art nor was it our passion. she had a very strict attendence policy and was not very understanding...
