She didn't even follow her own rubrics. For example, if my assignment should have had 15 points deducted according to the rubric, she would deduct 21 points instead. She would even attach a copy of the rubric and highlight which parts I did wrong and the corresponding points, and still deducted more. She did this on the majority of my assignments.

Dr. Cooper is by far the hardest grading professor I have had at MGSU. She does not care if you pass or fail. If you do not meet her criteria or the way she wants something done (even though you never know this until the grade comes back), she will pretty much fail you. She has no sympathy nor cares about student's real world problems.

Class is Online so you have to be disciplined. Dr cooper will help you though if you just ask. Didn't like class at first but I ended Up learning so much. I use the information all the tIme.

In terms of the class, the material provided is extremely excessive, and the quizzes/tests are unneccessarily long. As far as Cooper, she's super nice, very organized, but VERY picky. I got a lot of points taken off because of very minute details. She's a good teacher, but a bit excessive in her standards.

Be careful with this class. The point of this class is to undo everything you learned in English. All of the quizzes and multiple choice exams are EASY! Then.. the letter exams. The final (50 MC + letter exam) was crazy--she took off THIRTY POINTS because a sentence wasn't in the "right paragraph". That one sentence nearly cost me my A.

I took her for both business classes. She is very difficult! I also think that she is too tough on grading! I am a mostly "B" student and made mostly D's or C's in her class. She could lighten up a little bit, seems to be one of those who take the class way to seriously!! VERY RISKY!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

I took her online class for bus. apps. It was very easy if you just follow her syllabus and DONT GET BEHIND. My computer was giving me trouble all semester. But she worked with me and really tried to help me fix the problems. Great teacher. I am taking an online class from again this semester.
