This prof is a disaster. She barely understands what shes teaching, and it is reflected on her students. I am a A student, and I got a C+ in her class. She barely teaches anything in class, and when she does, its incomprehensible. Avoid at all costs.

This is the worst programming teacher that I have ever had and she should be fired. I am an expert programmer and her lectures confused me. Even speaking with her outside of class did not change how she taught lectures. This teacher is INCOMPETENT

Teacher lacks professionalism. I needed 4 of my labs returned to study for the final exam so I e-mailed her a week before the test, but no response. I sent 2 more and still no response. I had to track her down and finally got my labs 2 hours before the exam. She acted like it was no big deal that she didn't answer my e-mails.

Absent-minded, yes. Lectures are monotonous and confusing - always powerpoint presentations. Anyone with no prior experience to taking this class would understandibly be lost as she teaches as if you knew coding. The exams are poorly constructed and she is ALWAYS late, sometimes not showing up at all! Frustrating since I paid for my education..

I took her for Digital Logic + lab Fall semester. She was always late to class and had a habit of putting nearly everyone to sleep. The textbook wasn't needed since she has 12+ page notes online. Her test questions are confusing, sometimes repetitive. I got a B+ in the lecture (89.9%) and an A in the lab. You will have to fight for a good grade.

Always always is late for class! Then since she was late tends to teach the class 10 to 15 minutes past when the class is done. Easier to learn on your own since she reads off the slides.

Makes a habit of being late for classes. Lectures are pointless, she can't stay focused for very long either (I heard something about having brain surgeries, maybe this is why?) I wouldn't advise anybody to take her class, it's hard to even go and sit in a room with her for an hour, let alone a semester.

If possible avoid this class at all costs! She talks the whole hour and you don't learn a thing, she doesn't want to spend time to help you, and since everything is online (homework, quizzes, etc.) theres no point showing up for class. If youre brave enough to take her make sure you have the book, you'll learn more from it.

Word to the wise to those coming up thru the CSC ranks. Unless your a C++ guru or enjoy learning strictly ON YOUR OWN don't take this professor. Best way to learn in her course is to start by reading the book and continue to read the book. Take Turner, Galernau, or Farmer instead for this class if they are teaching it. Oh, best of luck!

About two weeks into class it became apparent that there was no point in even showing up. Nobody else came and all she did was answer questions from other classes that had stayed over. Waste of money, I didn't learn anything and I don't think she ever gave a single lecture. Read book. Do homework. Take exams. This is college?

She doesn't teach it is crap, I wish i had a job making 56K a year to be unorganized, not communicate, be late, and alround do a bad job, Good ole American Colleges. :) :)

Holy God! Does not teach anything! What we had for our FIRST project, other teachers gave for their midterm! This is a hard class, and even harder when the teacher does not teach you ANYTHING! She should not be an instructor because she is awful!

By far, the worst professor or teacher I had in my life. She is unorganized, does not show up when she is suppose to, tests on material that was never presented, seems to be on a power trip, I don't understand how the University of Michigan tolerates this poor excuse for a professor? Of course, the ENTIRE computer science department is WACK !!

This was an online class that turned out to be totally a independent study. The material is easy, I mean it's just VB! But if you had a question about anything, you will never reach her. The whole class revolved around students helping other students. Oh yeah, exam answers are consistently wrong.

I took the class on campus, but should have just stayed at home. Everything is online...quizzes, tests, homework. I found the book more useful than her, she always had to "get back with me" when I asked a question. A lot of little assignments, but they are not too hard.

Not impressed, got frustrated that when her examples didn't work she would just say "oh well we dont need that anyway" and move on to another example, with out making the first one work, didn't feel like she had a good grasp on subject matter.
