Challenging but very well done course. Professor Moynihan had a clearly laid out sylabus and expectations. The material and the process we traveled during the course made lots of sense. The text book is one that I continually use in the rest of my writing and researching. If yo want to learn to write well, do yourself a favor and take her course.

Now THIS was a class! Lots of reading, lots of writing (both formal and informal)...American writers can sometimes be hard to digest, but her written lectures made it easy. Her feedback was incredible...to the point but it didnt make you feel like an idiot...

Dr. Moynihan is an excellent instructor. Her feedback on papers, whether just on formatting or personal voice, is clear, easy to understand, and always beneficial - the epitome of "constructive criticism." I would recommend choosing her as an instructor for this course to anyone.
