Worst professor ever. She will ignore you if you don't agree with what she says. If you argue what she likes and wants to hear, then you will get a good grade. She wasted 20 min before our midterm to make us sit in alphabetical order. She doesn't give you enough time to write essays. She's the worst

Linda Patrik is very generous with her enthusiasm and her time, but you have to invest yourself in the topic. She's not going to hand it to you... You get out what you put in, and Patrik encourages alternative points of view.

Very intelligent, knowledgable and strange. Rigorous in papers but accepting in class. Very interested in engaging philosophy at a personal level of understanding; don't take the course unless you really want to get into the topic.

she is a total nut. she makes really hard exams after not teaching all semester. if you feign interest in buddhism and her interests and spend time sucking up you can do relatively well. get lots of help by giving her drafts of your papers ahead of time too. she's flaky though and not all there.
