If your opinion did not match the opinion of the professor, it was incorrect. You are graded heavily on a few large assignments towards the end, which ultimately saved my grade. Understand that if you do not have the same opinion as the professor, it will be considered incorrect. I would not recommend taking this course if it can be avoided!

Worst professor at Isenberg. Pretends to grade fair but if you have views other then hers your wrong. Looks for vary particular answers on tests. No leniency for anything. Avoid this class if you want to keep your GPA up. I would rather pay the extra 2,000 to do an online course than take a class with this professor again.

Not a great professor, very boring lectures. Requires a lot of reading, can bring notes to quiz, but quizzes are only 5 questions and VERY specific, so notes don't help much. A lot of teamwork, which can sometimes hurt your grade. Grades assignments very harshly, and if your opinion differs than hers, your answer is considered "wrong".

VERY tough class. There's a lot of reading, and about 10 quizzes that are extremely nit-picky. You get a page of notes, which usually isn't helpful unless you copy down the readings word-for-word. Also a lot of team cases but she is a VERY specific grader, and if your opinion is different than hers, then you won't do well; grades are unpredictable

Practice your mind reading if you want a good grade on any quiz or test. If you don't say exactly what she is thinking you are wrong. Very boring lectures, drags everything out. Tests are ALL essay and WAY too many questions for the amount of time. Every quiz is 5 questions on long readings and questions usually don't relate to the course content.

Very Boring class! Lots of readings and theoretical ideas. The whole course seems to just over complicate and put complex terms to simple ideas. Her grading is somewhat unpredictable. Several major group assignments so if you are in a good group you are OK, otherwise you may be in trouble. Many in class activities are pointless.

Comment:
All the class assignments are group projects and as someone who prefers to do work alone this was very frustrating. There are 100s of readings issued and some of them are critically important, others you'll never need, but no real indication which is which. Book is needed; as tests are mostly based off of it. Overall, mediocre class.

Comment:
Avoid this class entirely. Class time is spent arguing about gender stereotypes and then everyone gets blind sighted on the exams because content is all book based instead of class. There are two team projects and two exams, each weighted differently. There is no structure/organization for the class and it is so frustrating. Linda is nice but dry.

Nice lady, terrible class. She expects you to do readings before class and randomly quizzes you on them. You will be forced to do group work all the time in class with kids who are management majors and take the class too seriously. Looking back, the course provided no useful information. If you go to class then take it because it's an EZ ISOMclass

Probably the worst teacher I've had at Isenberg. Overanalyzes everything possible and expects students to hit on every point she has in mind. Draws everything out and wastes time with pointless class activities. Don't take this class.

Terrible teacher. I was very disappointed that we would have such a poor teacher in an MBA program.

She is clueless, the whole class could be taught in one hour but it is stretched out over a semester. She love to overanalyze and makes you do pointless class activities. get out while you still can.
