Under her teaching in the Overcoming Prejudice and Discrimination, my life was changed because she taught us the root of the problems of the past as well as today. She was the best professor thus far at New England College.

She was really nice. Lots of class discussions and she is open minded, but will challenge you. She stumbled alot over her words and over the desks. I got a B and I never read the books. If you actually put a little bit of effort in he class, you'll def get a B+ if not an A. Cool lady and will work wit you. Take her.

This is the first class where I had to write something everyday, and Ithought I would not survive. However, I did, in large part because the teacher gave me daily feedback on my work. Now I really believe I can be a newspaper reporter.

How could someone honestly say she doesn't listen to students and is not helpful? She was always willing to hear what students had to say, but she wouldn't let misstatements go unchallenged. My papers were given more attention from Prof. Steiner than from others I've had had Rutgers.

If you look beyond the awkward lecture style and pay attention to what she's saying, you'll learn volumes from this woman. she REALLY knows what she's talking about, and she's amazing to talk to outside of the classroom. the chance to learn from her is a great opportunity--SO completely worth overlooking an "um" or two.

I didn't have her as a professor, but she was a guest lecturer for one of my classes, she was SO BORING and no one was even listening. She was like off in her own little world, no one knew what the hell she was talking about either. Many walked out.

Umm,Umm,Umm. I swear that's all she can say. It drove me crazy. She's moody, and boring as f*ck! I had to take this class but I'm glad I did it during the summer. A semester with her would have made me kill myself or umm, umm, umm, her.

at times, this class was really boring, but sometimes i found it a bit interesting. you get to talk about****. can't complain. she is sort of a bad lecturer. she really digs the word "umm." but she grades pretty fair. she takes attendance with pop quizzes. 2 papers and a final.

A HORRIBLE experience. Besides the fact that she can't speak a coherent sentance or thought, she is opinionated. If it is not her opinion she brushes it off then speaks her mind. This was a painful class, but I have improved on my word search skills...you'll need plenty of them to keep you occupied.
