Great professor and a pure joy to attend this class! Some of the major assignments are extremely close in due dates but not impossible to handle. Get through the first half of the semester and the second half is a breeze! Two essays and a mapping project. Mini quizzes. Awesome class.

Her class was fun and genuinely interesting. She makes it easy to talk in front of other students. She cares about the students' interests and will try her best to incorporate modern music, words, and books into her class. Absolutely loved her. I wish she could teach all of my classes. You MUST take her.

I loved this class! Professor Stewart makes all the material very interesting and applicable to life today. She is such a sweet woman and seems to genuinely care for her students. Most of the work is interesting and fairly easy. I wish she could teach every class. Absolutely take a class with her if you can!

She is so helpful, and always there to provide feedback. Her quizzes were very tough, but it is still an easy A or B even if you bomb a couple. She saved my grade and would always go over my rough draft and give me some ideas to go on.

Took this world lit class online. Fairly easy, but there was TONS of reading. I was broken up into fairly small sections, but there were like 5 books to go through, some more interesting than others. The class wasnt hard and should be an easy A

Professor Stewart is a very helpful, open-minded professor. I took her for an honors American Identities class that I looked forward to attending. Her classes relied upon discussion a lot, and reading essays and her projects were interesting and made me think. I'm glad I took her.

Prof. Stewart was marketed to me as an open minded, lenient, and helpful teacher. Over the course I discovered that she was petty, and unfailingly progressive. The head on this woman rivals any young poet and her assignments are vague, minutiae ridden, and bogus. Avoid at all costs.

I took her online section--it was awesome! There is a fair amount of reading to do, but all of the discussions and quizzes are easy if you do the work! She is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone. :)

This class was an absolute pleasure. I took it online and it was very flexible, easy, and simple. Professor Steward is very straight forward and is easy to work with. 6 DB's, 6 books, 2 short reflections, 6 quizes. Lowest quiz dropped if you take the last one and read the last book. I didn't think I would like this class as much as I did.

Four assignments that aren't explained very well, but you get to add your own interpretation. Great class to get students comfortable with speaking in front of peers and students. She has the class give positive feedback after every presentation. I had a very fun, close group of people in this class. Very fun and she is helpful when you ask.

Professor Stewart is amazing! She is so kind and sweet! Although you have to read about 5 - 7 books during the semester, they're pretty good books. We only had 3 quizzes and 3 reading responses. We have one big project and that's it. She's such a sweet lady and I would definitely take her again! My favorite professor at KSU!

Professor Stewart is a great teacher! It is a class based on presentations, which I was nervous about before class began. However, Prof Stewart made the entire class feel comfortable. By the end of the semester I felt more confident in my presentation skills. Their were a total of 4 presentations the semester. Take her class, you won't regret it!

I wish I'd checked this site before taking Stewart this semester and feel I could have been more "on the ball," so to speak, if I had. I'll say this: Stewart loves teaching. This is her passion, and if it's not yours, you will not do well in this class. If, however, you're ready to work, work, work, then Stewart will have much to teach you.

This class really teaches you how to be a comfortable and respectful presenter. Yes, she is a little passive-aggressive and yes, the work is a bit unclear. I believe the faults of this class, however, are the things that prepare you to be able to take projects into your hands and become a real teacher. Be respectful, participate, and just have fun!

I liked Stewart's class and ended up making an A. She IS snappy but don't talk when she is talking (didn't you learn that in middle school?) The workload is light and fun. My particular class had bad attitudes and she came down on them (hence the bad comments below). She is helpful at office hours. She can be unclear, just ask questions.

She expects respect but doesn't give it. We are adults. If one person is late the whole class is lectured. Doesn't give clear feedback or instructions. Like someone else said very condescending. She talks down to you with a smile on her face like that makes it ok. Hope I don't encounter her again.

This is the most condescending teacher I have ever had. She is rude when you ask for feedback and has never clearly explained anything that I have asked her. I will not take her again. Her class is about how you should present yourself when teaching, she needs to listen to herself.
