Easy A! Expect to work harder in this class than other courses. For your papers, make sure to answer all of the questions on the grading rubric. Read the textbook for your own knowledge to be able to participate in class. She is a very caring person ! Do not be overwhelmed with amount of papers, she is an easy grader. Just work hard, she can tell!

Professor Cox is really nice but I felt like this was a rigorous course for 6 weeks. She was sometimes really vague which gave the class a very "unstructured" feel, which some people like and others don't. The one thing I really didn't like is that a week before a paper was due she changed it from a 20 page to a 30 page paper, which is insane imo

Professor Cox is such a sweet lady, she truly cares about her students. This class is extremely easy, as long as you are prepared to read and write. There is are 7, 20, and 30 page papers in this class, however, they are easy to write. There is two books which you will use and weekly mini homework. Be ready to write, you will get an A though.

I was nervous to take Dr. Cox for senior seminar because of the other reviews on here, but I'm glad I disregarded them. I had a very pleasant senior year thanks to Dr. Cox, I loved her course and preferred her over the other professors I heard about. Lots of busywork in the last semester, but not unbearable & still pulled an A at the end. Loved her

Aging and Spirituality is a good class. It's not about religion, but about spirituality. She cares a lot. A decent amount of work but an easy grader. She will keep you the full 4 hours of class which can feel really long. Overall a good class to take.

You must know exactly what you are talking about during a presentation. She is very knowledgeable but she will correct you during the class if you made a mistake to her. That was stressful and embarrassing sometimes. She is not a bad seminar professor just a little confusing with what she wants on assignments sometimes.

If you take a senior sem she does care if you learn. there is a lot of work and sometimes it is confusing as to what she wants but she does take the time to explain. She also doesn't really get mad but she will say when she is disappointed. she actually writes comments on your writing so you do get better at essays. She also does a resume session.

Dr. Cox is one of the sweetest professors at Stockton. I found her HIV class very interesting. I learned so much in that 14 weeks. I think they should break the class down into two sections. She curves the test but her grading when it come down 2 writing a paper is weird. We wrote a 1 half pg paper 4 journal every week & 5-7 paper and take 2 test.

if you don't have to, don't take her. she doesn't have a set teaching method. ridiculous rules and shows no emotion at all. definitely very smart and knows her subject, just not very sure on how to relate to the students or how to teach it.

This class is hard, no exceptions. You need to make sure you are ready for alot of work. She was fair with her grading. Gave you plenty of chances to improve your grade. Fall 06 semester she changed her class format around which was very helpful and beneficial. Do your work and try and you will do fine in the class.

First off... She knows her stuff. Too bad being smart doesn't make you a good teacher. You can tell she's used to dealing with grad school students because she assumes you know everything the second you walk in the door. As far as feedback goes, she's essentially useless except for saying you should just start over. The research proposal is hell.

One of the smartest and most impressive women I've ever met. She knows her subject matter and obviously enjoys sharing it. Great teacher. Very helpful. Only critique- should write more of her own test questions, some from the text are poorly written.

Very smart woman. She knows her stuff. The material is kind of dry, but she does what she can to make it interesting and to help you learn how to apply it. There's not a whole lot of homework. If you keep up with the readings and the vocab you'll be fine.

Most knowledgable social worker I have ever met. She may be tough be she knows her stuff. She is a great preceptor and you guys must be crazy if you think she was an awful professor. She may be tough but she's available all the time, and she makes you understand social work. All you haters must not be social work majors. I highly recommend her.
