I love Dr. Daniels! I've taken data analysis and econ dev with her and both classes were great. She has so much experience in her field and I love talking to her about her career, she gives great advice for anyone wanting to go into econ. Her classes are interesting! There's projects but you have a lot of freedom for what you want to do them on

Geez! The amount of material taught in this class was outrageous! Such a fact paced course! 90% of the final grade is exams and if you fail one it hurts you bad. Prof. Daniels is always available in office hours but still she teaches at a fast pace! Would not recommend. Especially if you are not a mathematics person.

Likes to use lecture from slides that have little revelance to the actual topic. If you want to learn in her class then you must read the book on your own and teach yourself.

I didn't need a notebook. At the beginning of the year we bought a thick stack of papers which had every single slide we covered in class. Note taking at its best. You find class boring? Get more sleep the night before.

She's is very smart. She disappears a lot though. She's a world traveler. She went to the WTO during time as her student. However, she keeps contact via e-mail and is willing to meet with you during her hours.
