DO NO, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, (UNLESS YOU HAVE TO) Do NOT take a class taught by Lisa. She is very unorganized, very vague on all instruction, disrespectful to students, and her head is always in the clouds. Her written assignments are poorly worded and in-class assignments are frustrating because she says one thing but means another.

Her head is in the clouds. She says one thing but means another. The syllabus is only a suggestion. She was late for class at least once a week. If your a natural dancer she will love you. This class gave me a headache. The clock couldn't move fast enough. If this class hadn't been mandatory I would have dropped it after the first week.

I would not recommend this prof to anyone. Not only is she disorganized, but she is disrespectful and believes only her ideas are right. She outright told people in the class that their personal opinions/ideas were wrong and that no one cared. Extremely disappointing for a class that could have been brilliant.

Do NOT take this class. Lisa is so disorganized and disrespectful. She makes you meet outside of class time because she doesn't plan enough time to complete the assignments. She is judgmental and believes her style of dance is the only correct way (if you actually dance, do not take this course... her view of dance is far from the truth!!)

Lisa was very passionate about this class which made it interesting and fun to go. She changed her mind about marks and due dates a lot which was a little annoying but she was pretty slack in taking in late assignments which made up for it. By the end of the year I was not as interested in the class as the beginging but the class was an easy A.

Lisa is incompetent, disorganized, disrespectful and a terrible teacher! She has no right being in the drama department or teaching anything for that matter. She changes things around constantly and blames things on students in an unprofessional manner. DON"T TAKE HER CLASSES!!!!

Not very clear on what she wants. Gets impatient if you ask her to explain. Not helpful out of class. I got very sick and she made me take time out of class to organize a missed performance, which she forgot about and gave me a F for anyway. The only positive is that her writing assignment are a piece of cake. Do not recommend.

She kept going off on tangents, was never clear and constantly told us to be less literal and then wouldn't explain what she meant. She would snap at the class and demand respect when she deserved none and finally made the entire class meet up on easter monday at 8-10 (im there right now) because she failed to gauge the classes progress. Disgusting

Lisa did a very good job booking a variety of performances for the class. She's a kind professor, albeit a bit of an unorganized one. I didn't see her picking favorites. My biggest criticism of Lisa comes from her constant use of the word "intertexuality". It reminds me of the Princess Bride "I do not think that word means what you think it means."

I am not a fan. She is disorganized at the best of times, and picks favourites. Even if you commit yourself to the class, because hey, everyone is making themselves look foolish, she still has very little use for you. I would not reccomend her

I don't know why she teaches drama when her degree is in French. Either way, she is very hard to communicate with, scatterbrained, and she only gives good grades to those students who regurgitate her opinions. (In order to do well in her class, pretend you think she is brilliant. That's how I got an A.)

She's all right, better than I thought she was going to be. No longer picks favourites, and tries to do what she can to make the class interesting. If you put a little effort in and just commit yourself to looking like a fool with everyone else, you should do all right.

I thought Lisa was a great teacher!! Students who worked hard got the grades they deserved. She was very open to personal interpretations and helped you develop your own sense of self. I look forward to more classes with her. She's great!!
