I was very disappointed with Dr. Fournier when all was said and done. I had an A going into the final and studied my tail off for that last exam. The test was ridiculously confusing and I missed the mark for an A by 0.1%. Despite working hard all semester and showing up to every single lecture, she wouldn't round my score up. Frustrating.

Dr. Fournier is a really nice person. She puts everything you need to know for the class in the lectures and gives lots of examples. It isn't impossible to get a good grade, just make sure you know ALL of the study guide and you're home free. Don't let ppl freak you out about 312, its not that hard and she is an amazing teacher. One of the best!

Like a lot of teachers here, she writes her lectures with the assumption that you'll bring your laptop to class. However, she's always stopped/slowed down for people who needed more time. Her class is really interesting, but be prepared for lot of writing. I would definitely recommend her class.

Hard Hard Hard exams!! She words the questions so that you really have to think. The lectures were packed full of material. The lab portion was difficult as well. For the amount of material and what was expected of us I felt 4 credits was not enough, it should have been a 5 credit class. I would, however, take another class from her.

Her lectures were JAM packed with information.I spent more time scurrying to write down information, than I did attentively listening. I spent on average 4 hours reading each chapter, and oftentimes the exam questions picked out the most obscure facts which were never mentioned in class. She knows how to word difficult questions as well. Good Luck

She expects you to know material that she does not cover in class. The chapters take 3-4 hours to read and they are jam-packed with information. In the exams she tests you on four or five chapters and wants specific detail. Yet she neglects to tell you what to focus on. If you ask for help, you will get a very vague answer most of the time.

I thought Fournier was extremely nice and very passionate about the subject matter. I thought her grading was pretty unfair, though, because she didn't explain the grades she gave and didn't go over any of the tests unless you made an appointment. My grade mysteriously dropped after the last week of class when it was too late to call her out on it.

Only day of new material was on the last day before dead week, class was a repeat of 311, shes a leader in her field who needs to work in a lab and not teaching, her lectures showed little prep on her part and when the students didnt understand she just used yet another strange example

Unprepared, uninformed, and uninteresting. Wait for someone else to teach the course or skip the class altogether. I assure you you will get as much or more by just reading a Cog. Psych text. If she keeps teaching this course, Behaviorism will make a huge comeback.

Really enjoyed this class with her. She made something incredibly boring incredibly interesting. Never thought I would continue going to a history of psych class, but only missed one or two classes. I highly recommend her. She's very quirky, but a lot of fun and extremely helpful... just ask!

Oh, please. Lisa Fournier is an expert in her field. She'll give you an A if you deserve it. I earned a 4.0 in her class. She was interesting and difficult--she has a passion for the field. Take a lecture from her if you have an interest in Psych and you will learn and yes, possibly succeed.

Very confusing; she wanted her students to love Psychology, whereas the students were only there to get credit and possibly have an enjoyable experience. They didn't.
