gives pages of excessive and confusing notes, moves very quick during lecture and doesn't do the best job at explaining everything. Never put anything on bolt and would give back assignments weeks later with random points taken off and no explanation

Had her for university seminar my first year, not completely sure if she has ever done a seminar class before. She seems very careless about the class as a whole and eats a lot during every single class. Sometimes has guest speakers come in during class, caught her sleeping during one of her guest speakers.

Calc 2 is a hard class, material wise. But as long as you put like 3 hours into studying for her tests, you will succeed. She will do anything to help and cares a lot for her students. Her exams are easy if you know the material, and she doesn't try to trick you. Attendance is not mandatory. Take her for your calculus classes!!

Dr. Lister knows her subject matter inside and out. She really does care about her students and wants us to pass. Sometimes she does teach a bit fast and students fall behind and get confused. But she is always willing to offer extra help to anyone, just stop by her office! If you take the first step, she'll walk a mile to help you out.

Dr. Lister is SUCH a gem!! One of the best most caring professors I have had so far. She really does want her students to succeed and she shows it!! If you are struggling go to her office hours, she is more than willing to help you and is very explanatory in class which makes the content easier to learn. Truly an amazing professor.

Loved having her as a professor. Was always willing to work around my hectic schedule and always explained things clearly. If you don't go to class, though, you're going to fail. Make sure you stay current on the material because she does move fast. Don't take without taking an algebra class first if you aren't strong in algebra.

STAY AWAY.... IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN PRE-CALC DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. She was a nice lady but she seemed like she didn't care about her students. Did a horrible job at answering questions, wasn't helpful at all.

Very good professor. She gives great notes, goes over simple, medium, and very difficult examples in class. Tests are very similar to notes. Very straight forward professor and she is very helpful. I had for Calc 2, 3, and 4 and think she was great.

Textbook requires a new code/disc. Code+ebook still runs $75+. TI-89 "required," you could probably get away with the ti-83. The 89 helps for checking answers but tests are too long to recheck. Tests are always long for a 50 minute class. Weekly quizzes :/

As a person, she's really nice and she cares about students. As a professor, she does go a little fast in lecture but she explains things pretty well & gives ample examples. My only complaint is how much cheating goes on in her class. She didn't say anything until the last day & it was really discouraging to work so hard while others were dishonest

Had her for Calc 1, 2, & 3. I thought she was great for calc 1 & 2... but for Calc 3 I thought she went fast with way too much material... or maybe it was just me. I got A's in calc 1 & 2 but ended up with a C+ in calc 3. She's a fair teacher, but I wish she did more example problems on the board before assigning homework probs.

Ive had Dr.Lister for Calc 1,2, and 3. Although she is a very nice lady and a great professor I have been getting consistently lower grades. She is very clear, gives good notes, and is interested in student success. Tests can be difficult but definitely a great professor.

Great professor! She teaches at a nice pace and makes it easier than the book does. She makes the harder parts easier to do and understand. If you take notes, do the homework and review from time to time, you'll do well. She doesn't use hard questions but just wants to see you know the concepts. Really nice professor! Recommend for any Calc class!

Dont even worry about paying attention in class, just write down the notes (write down everything she writes), do the homework, review .. and u'll get an easy A... had her for calc 1, 2, and 3 and got an A in all...however that material gets a little harder by the end of calc 2 and beginning of calc 3.. everything else is easy

Lister runs through the material way too fast, especially considering the difficulty of the material (at least half the class involved proofs). She is only moderately helpful, but you have to go out of your way to meet with her. I studied like crazy for this class and only got a C.

i took calc in hs and this was as easy or easier than that. she does a lot of examples when teaching things, and makes sure everyone knows whats going on. she tells you exactly what kind of problems and how many of them are going to be on each test and the final. not bad for a calc class, shes a really good prof.

Great prof! Very easygoing and always really helpful. You get a week to do homework and she is very easy to talk to if you have a question about something. If you need Math Thinking and she's teaching it, take her! You won't go wrong.
