Her lab reports are not long, as long as you follow what she wants, you will get a decent grade. She is a tough grader, but because of that, my lab report writing skillz are much much better.

This is for UHD 1303 Freshman Seminar Class (Bio of Food): No textbook, she provides links and sometimes printed sheets of lecture. A+CE assignments can be long but tests are easy if you just pay attention. Sort of a tough grader sometimes but it was pretty good.

Hard grader, but uses a curve. Used three small books instead of a textbook and every class she would sign for reading prompts. At the end she only gives credit for the ones she signed. Do the essays early and run them by her for a higher grade. At the end she offered some small extra credit assignments.

Dr. Morano is a horrible instructor. The exams are extremely difficult and cover a large number of chapters. The professor assigns so much work each day. She is a tough grader. She assigned a position paper and did not give students an example of how a position paper should be written. Do not take this professor if you care about your GPA.

She's really nice. I enjoyed her lectures very much. There 2 exams and a final. There are also homework assignments and 2 written papers. She offers extra credit. There is also a lot of reading done in a short period of time. We read 3 chapter books, and there were group discussions which I enjoyed. Her exams are based on her power points.

This professor is one of the worst professors at uhd! Half of our class got a's and the other half got d's. Call it what you want. Care about your gpa DO NOT take. She has a thing against other races In my eyes and behaves like she is above everyone.

Dr. Morano is definitely a smart professor, she's very nice and always willing to help if you ask for it. Lectures mostly on PP for the whole class, papers every week. LOTS OF GROUP WORK. This class was more intense than my core classes, It was pretty hard but if you do decide to take be ready and utilize her office hours!

She is very difficult. In her class you can't make mistakes even one. But she is very smart, knows what she is teaching. If you want to be challenged then take her class so you can learn a lot but to get an A you have to spend at least 25hours a week to study for her class.

She would be a great professor if she wasn't always on her high horse. She has a tendency to look down on her minorty students. She thinks her Anglo students are the only smart ones. The main problem with the class is that its all about her. She makes it very clear its the Dr. Morano show, and we are just lucky to be there.

Comment:

Great professor. Very good lectures. Also very helpful in office hours. Tests are a combination of short answers and multiple choice. Short answers are the analytical types where you realize whether you understand the material or not. Overall, the best UHD professor I have had so far in Natural Sciences.
