I loved Dr. Savage! The class was behavior and brain plasticity, and was very neuroscience based so the material was sometimes difficult but she explained it so well that I mastered it. She gave extra credit for attending campus talks and her tests (2) were very fair. I loved her class and became very interested in neuroscience! Take this class!!!!

Go to class because some test questions are only based on what she said in class. Read the book for clarity. Reading the notes and the book should give you a firm grasp on the material, making the tests not that bad at all. There's also extra credit if you go to class. I really have no complaints about her or the class.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!! THE HARDEST TESTS I HAVE EVER TAKEN IN MY LIFE!! PURE EVIL! IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON FAILING A CLASS THEN YOU SHOULD CONSIDER TAKING THIS ONE BECAUSE THAT ARE HER INTENTIONS. SHE DOESNT CURVE ANYTHING, SHE AIMS FOR THE CLASSES MEAN GRADE TO BE A C+. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN A... RECONSIDER! WORST PROF EVER IN HISTORY!!!!!

even though she can speak normally, she tends to screech/yell in this high pitched tone that can shatter glass. take one advil prior to class.

she's very spacey but funny, very knowledgeable. class is taught from a biological standpoint, not so much a sociocultural one, but even if bio isn't your thing, it's still manageable. you'll def do better if you go to lecture, but all the material is in the txtbk if you miss it. tests are tricky but not impossible if you study. no hw/papers ever.

she is definitely known to repeat all her notes on the powerpoint slides. her grading scale sucks especially since her exams are so freakin tricky as if she has an intent on failing students. it could be the grad ta making the questions, but then again, if savage approved them for the test, she's evil too. avoid her and her tricky exams.

if youre planning on taking drugs and behavior just because youre generally interested in the topic then AVOID THIS CLASS. there are easier ways to get your S credit without subjecting yourself to this torture. sometimes she mispronounced things and i felt like she wasnt very smart, but she obviously is, she just doesnt have a good teaching method.

I don't know where that person got that she drops the lowest grade. She counts every grade, doesn't curve, and does not know what she is ever talking about. DO NOT expect to get a good grade in this class and do not take it if you need a gen ed.

First things first, you have to be on a lot of different drugs to think you can "learn" from this professor. She doesn't teach, she reads her powerpoints which are frequently wrong and full of incomprehensible notes. When you need more time to copy down slides she tries to "teach" by repeating the powerpoint slides yet again. AVOID THIS MORON.

She infuriates me! She mispronounces and misspells EVERYTHING. She also doesn't teach and simply dictates the words up on her powerpoint. Instead of attempting to explain the concepts while waiting for people to write it down, she reads it over again.

Great class; you can get an A if you have some accurate street knowledge coming in. The first test is a ****, but she lets you drop the lowest one. You just have to realize what the most important things are to study, and you will get an A.

This prof is a disaster. She frequently misquotes statistics, makes up random percentages & is pathetic. Got an A in the class, but geez- she just makes**** up. And she calls her child "the kid".

Avoid if you can! There is information overload and tests are hard. She doesn't put anything in terms that you can understand, I don't think she really cares.
