This teacher is horrible! I learned nothing in her class. All she did was talk about stuff that wasn't relevant to the essays we were writing. You tube was her favorite thing to do even though it was also irrelevent to our class. She doesn't folloow her own grading outline and if she doesn't like you she wiil fail you. Don't take her class.

I took her class my spring semester 2013. She was really funny. We watched a lot of movies. Very easy class. You don't need to buy the book most of the short stories are online. I took only 2 test in her class.

She's really energetic, funny and nice! All we did was watch movies and YouTube videos, but i'd suggest to pay attention because the midterm and final are about them. She doesn't say how she wants the essays written so it's better to ask questions than to just guess! She grades everything last minute so don't expect to see your grades right away!

An AMAZING teacher!Super fun to talk to. I took her 8week course, which meant a paper due each week, but over easy subjects and she does have discussion boards but assings things that could help. She does go over the book, but she has it n class for you to look, so not mandatory to buy, i would say.

Took this class in a 5-week Summer session. Very easy! Go to class, participate, and turn in your assignments on time...you'll pass! Her teaching style is unique and she has a weird sense of humor which made for an interesting class. If you're easily offended, then I wouldn't recommend her...

She is a good teacher. Iv'e learned a lot already! She does take a while to put grades on Blackboard but she gives back the essays asap. Either way she's a very easy and funny. We watch videos on you tube then talk about them. Fun class! Plus she gives extra time to finish an assignment and doesn't deduct points!

Would not recommend this prof. She tells you how to do an assignment, but when you do it that way she tells you that you are wrong and gives a horrible grade. She never grades assignments in a timely manner, so you never know where you stand in class.

This is the worst professor ever. She is very unorganized and takes forever to email you back if you are having a problem. She sometimes will not explain why she grades a paper and does not follow her own grading criteria. She even forgot to add a grade to my GPA. WORST TEACHER EVER!!!

Worst teacher ever!Took her for an online class,very disorganized & doesn't go by the schdle,gets behind on grading so never know what grade is.I missed an essay(bc she of schd),she did let me turn in late but never graded it.Today the grades were submited & it was still not graded even though I reminded her last week about it!Don't take her class!

I took her online class just after giving birth to my first child. I thought online classes would be very easy with a newborn but I was wrong and got behind on ALL my assignments. I would have failed for sure but I explained my situation, and Professor Horton was very empathetic and gave me a chance to turn in everything I was missing.

First off she can't teach very well because she jumps from topic to topic and then she grades terribly. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.
