Awful Professor. Her tests are not straightforward, they test your test taking skills not actual material knowledge. Very unorganized. Graded assignments will be returned 2 months after submission. She complains to her classes about her job frequently. Very unprofessional. Not sure why SFU has left her stick around. DO NOT take her!

She does move quickly. Very helpful when you go to her office. Very willing to help out. Going to class is a must, and so is paying attention. Just read the text, go over the notes, make flashcards, and you will do fine.

Let's just say that i wouldn't recommend this teacher at all. Her notes are long and rediculous. She never covers everything that will be on the test, and she rushes though everything. Though she is a nice person, her flaws of teaching over rule her personality.

first of all, i think that there is too much work for her class for one semester, they should really make this class two classes...well atleast to make it equal to the other classes, you know, not that im complaining or anything... but she is really nice you just need to study really hard

she's a very nice teacher, and seems to be willing to help. although, her help is not helpful at all! the class is the hardest thing that i have ever had to take, i have always been an A+ student in biology. all of my grades are A's and B's. And I am failing this class. That should tell you something.

She rushed through power points to get done. And I learned nothing through her rushing. I went to her office hours and have never felt so dumb before in my life. She makes you feel stupid as she sits there and tries to teach you study. I'm on the deans list and had to withdrawal from her class

i thought i did a really good job studying for her class. i went to SI a few times too. i thought i studied enough for a test, i took the test and thought i knew everything, and then i failed it. this happened twice. nothing sucks more than thinking you understand, but you really don't. just not a good professor. tests are horrible.

she is the worst teacher for biology. She makes you study 4 chapters for a 10 question quizz. Her test are hard, quizzes are no better. She shows favortism to many students. Do not take this teacher also she is very rude when you send her an email about something. Donot take her unless you want to study 100pages a night

She types out all the notes and expects you to fill in the blanks throughout the lecture so it's not hard to get the informantion needed. She expects you to study a lot outside of class which is what college ia about. If you can't handle doing a little extra work Dr. Johnson

Horrible teacher! Her grading is ridiculous. Test questions are not specific so she expects you to read her mind and put the answer she was thinking of. Takes off points on quizes and tests for things she didn't even ask. You would rather jump off a bridge than go to this class. If you have a choice don't take her!!!
