Hands down best teacher ever I've had in my life! Always wanting the best for her students and always pushing them to be the best, Dr. Barkley works hard to make sure that her students get the best education possible. Never hesitates to go to full lengths to answer a students question and does more than what's expected for her students.

I am taking this course online. I have however met Lori online. She is a tough marker. BEWARE HER TESTS ARE ALL MULTIPLE CHOICE IN THIS COURSE. Which I find super tough. She tears paper apart but in a good way so you know what needs to change and how to do it. She also responds to emails quickly. Overall is an okay teacher.

Lori is the best instructor I've had. If you are willing to put in the work she will meet you there and support you in whatever way she can. Doesn't mince words. Funny. Engaging. Take her classes.

Lori is amazing. She is passionate about anthropology and an inspiration to her students. She is funny, quirky, and great at teaching! She also gives very good advice to students regarding writing, university and life in general. She got me hooked on anthropology and could do the same for you! Take a class with her, you won't regret it!

Lori is incredible. Passion and intention for her career and students. I took ethnic relations anthropology, and as this is her major focus as a professor, she was full of insight and great resources. I'll be taking any more classes she offers that fit into my courseload next semester.

Lori is an awesome prof. She gets you interested, is a little scary at first but is totally approachable, and she's hilarious! She is a hard marker as far as Selkirk goes, but she is very good at preparing you if you are planning on going onto university.

Lori is amazing. She loves what she does, and she is awesome at teaching it. She's really quirky, and that's awesome. For papers, anything goes as long as you can relate it. Everyone said she was a hard marker, but I found her class not too bad. Text was only used for assignments.
