Dr. Foote was easily one of the best professors I ever studied under. Took several of her classes and her knowledge of the Civil War era and Abraham Lincoln is practically unparalleled.

Prof Foote is a great professor at TAMU! She gives a midterm and a final along with two essays and two assignments. Although she is nice, her tests are graded pretty tough. I got an A but I had to work for it when it came to the midterm and final.

Dr. Foote is one of the greatest professors at Tamu and definitely knows her stuff. She makes the class interesting and relevant, however her tests are all essays and are graded pretty difficultly. I definitely suggest taking this professor though, you will love her!

Dr. Foote is a good teacher. Nice, kinda funny and her class isn't that bad for a history class. She gives 3 papers, one that is included in your final and 2 that are due throughout the semester. There are also 10 point assignments due throughtout the semester that are really easy. There's a midterm and a final. Her tests are all essay..which sucks

Professor Foote is one of my favorite professors at UCA. There's a lot of material to cover, but Dr. Foote makes it interesting. I took her 8:00 class and actually enjoyed getting up go it! No textbook, two tests (midterm and final). The tested are all written - definitions and essay questions. Really easy if you take good noted and STUDY them! I recommend Dr. Foote for everyone!

Great teacher, easy to get along with. The only downside to her class is that it's lecture every day and your grade only comes from a few things (midterm & final worth 100 each, comprehensive paper worth 50, and small sets of notes worth 10 each). Awesome class, just STUDY your notes as you go and rewrite them multiple times!

Do not take her if you aren't into writing a lot. There are only 2 tests; a midterm and a final. The rest is a 50 pt comprehensive paper, 2 smaller papers, notes over 2 books and chapters from the textbook. She acts like it is an english/upper division class instead of a gen ed. Interesting in class but a hard grader on tests which matter most.

Dr. Foote is the best history teacher at UCA! She has such a passion for what she does and you can tell when she's teaching. I thought this class would be so boring, but she made it interesting! Take her for American Nation I or II for your gen ed requirement, you'll love her!

Dr. Foote is awesome. She is extremely helpful and very personable. I used to hate US history, but now I'm intrested in it and it's because of her class. Work is not bad, lectures are awesome. Test are extensive, but you'll do fine if you study. You'll use the book a LOT, and there are some pop quizzes, but if you did the reading it's not difficult

I really, really enjoyed Professor Foote. She is very personable and has a great attitude. She shares personal stories and really seemed to enjoy our class. You really need to be in class though because there is no real textbook, meaning notes are your study resources. She does have very comprehensive study guides, but gives lots of time.

Easy easy easy. And I hate American History. She's good at lecturing, grades easy, will help you if you need it. She takes attendance, but she gives you 6 absences without penalty. I'd reccommend her.

TAKE GOOD NOTES. Almost all your grade comes from the midterm and final. She grades pretty tough too. The good thing is you only have to study a few days out of the semester, which is for midterm and final. Memorize your notes and you will do good in the class.

I absolutely loved her class. she's a great teacher and she really loves history. I hated history, but she actually made it enjoyable to learn and she always got really excited. It was a lot of fun, and i would definately recommend taking her class
