I have to say that Dr. Wilson is the nicest person I have come across in the IUP music department. When I was having scheduling problems, she went out of her way to help me figure out what I needed to do. Give the lady a chance. Respect her and she will respect you. Great person!!!!!

I missed a day of class and had an appointment with her to figure out what I missed. I went to her office and she was in there, but asked me to come back later because she was busy. I could see part of her computer screen and she was playing a game of solitaire. It was ridiculous!!

Dr. Wilson wasnt as bad as this makes her to seem. As long as you show up to class, go to the concerts, and hand things in on time, she recognizes your effort. She does a lot of things that help classes as a whole. Being polite goes a long way.

She babble constantly about topics unrelated to music. He class discussions never cover anything that is on any of the tests. I read the book a few hours before the midterm and passed that test with a 100%. Attending class is a waste of time. I sit and read the entire time. The only good thing is that I made some really great friendships.

She makes no sense. She taught us more about her family than music. 7 conert visits and 7 papers. Class was pointless, somewhat humorous. Affirmative action is the only reasoning I could come up with to why she is talking to a class. Tests were ridiculous cause she never covered one question. Boring teacher

The class was an easy A. But it also caused a lot of stress due to her unclarity & wasteful assignements. She is a nice lady,not helpful & simply confusing. I think it may be best for her to retire before things get worse. she may know her stuff she just doesn't use it anymore. If you want an easy A and think you can deal with it then go for it!

Never ever ever take this woman for a class. Nothing we did was helpful. She never had anything planned out. We had one test, and it was completely different from what she said it was going to be. Very unorganized and unfair. Cannot believe she's actually the chair of a department.

60 mins of mind numbing ramblins of "The city care forgot". Classtime never used wisely, cant give clear directions on ANYTHING, & forget asking questions she's completely incapable of anything resembling a logical response. How the woman recieved a Doctorates, god only knows.

Highly paid for being completely detached from rest of dept and sitting in room at computer 24/7. Is NOT helpful with scheduling; in fact, stand in the way of trying to accomplish ANYTHING. Rarely seen at music events either. Does not like to see students succeed independent of her direct rule

yeah, I remember summarizing newspaper articles in 4th grade...This class was during the summer and our only homework a couple of nights was to summarize articles. It was fun though we cooked and ate good food. Just not the difficulty of a LBST 499.
