You will not actually learn anything from taking this audit class, so if you're interested in that, you should sign up for another teacher. This coming from a student whom received a high grade. There's no need to attend class ever. If you want to learn auditing, read the textbook.

This course was rather like being on an easter egg hunt. He might know what he wants but good luck finding out what that is. Prior comments about the tests are true. I only learned the following from audit: Bernie Madoff made off with your money, lockbox!, auditors = $160/hr, the audit portion of CPA is 4½ hrs long. That was basically all he said.

Completely useless as a professor. Did not teach in any manner that was understandable to students. Tests were given with general questions and needed specific questions word-for-word from the textbook. How is this preparing us for anything in the real world?

Had him for internal control class. Good natured . . . but can hit you with a low grade if you underestimate him. He is so old-fashioned and does not like email (doesn't accept finals via emails . . . ). I did not learn that much from his class and it is such a waste of my time. One of the worst professors that I encountered.

His teaching style: start with problems, he assumes you understand everything. So don't expect to learn the material from him in class. Read the book by yourself, and do the problems with him in class. Otherwise you would feel like a idiot sitting in class knowing nothing. Tests are extremely easy, just few problems similar to what he did in class.

His class was used be a pretty easy going one, but now it's a little bit harder than the past. No use the textbook in class except tests. He is a lousy teacher in every way. He is not helpful to understand auditing. When you start studying CPA, you are gonna blame him. Whether you study hard or not, anyway you will take all the responsibilities.

Pretty easy class, just take note of his "stress points," but don't just copy a paragraph, go into the index and look for other areas relating to the topic and READ the pargraph, it may refer you to another page with more info. Gather all the info onto your test sheet and you should be fine, half the test is straight forward, half isn't

Very easy class to get an A in. He tells you exactly what you need to know for the exams. Put that stuff on the cheat sheet and your set. Cares for students in his class. I don't know why people don't like him. I think he's a good guy. People also think the class is boring, I thought it was alright.

If you dont get an A in this class, you shouldn't be in Binghamton. Easiest professor. Tells you whats on the exam, what more could you ask for? Make sure you get a group with 1/2 of a brain, and you'll be ok. Dont be in group with friends, u'll never get anything done.

quite possibly one of the worst experiences i had in a class at binghamton. yea, he's easy, but grades can go down very easy too. nothing from class correlates to the test and which leaves for no validation in going to class. i just really disliked this weird man. since he's the only teacher, enjoy!

dude is ALL OVER THE PLACE, but it's not like you have a choice - he's the only prof who teaches auditing. Why SOM has kept him around is beyond me. although he's very smart, he's extremely disrespectful, his lectures are not relevant to exams and instructions to projects are very unclear. boo.
