He knows a lot and sometimes share personal stories but he is very boring and I usually start daydreaming or doing something else in his class. It really isn't that hard of class as long as you get the book, read and make sure you go over the power points. Basically teach yourself.

This was ABSOLUTELY the WORST psych class I have EVER taken in my life. He is so boring he reads his lectures straight from power point so there is really no point in attending class, in fact only about 25% of the class even still shows up. His TA is NO help at all and I want to DIE when I sit through his class. Test are ridiculously Hard

Not sure why this professor has so many high ratings. Listening to him is like listening to a dry eyes Visine commercial for 90+ min. Tests are unreasonably difficult and don't power points, reviews or lectures. Also, "correct" answers on tests tend to be his own opinions. Avoid this geezer if you can, your GPA will thank you.

While the teacher is very knowledgeable, he is extremely boring. If you come to class and actually listen you probably wont need to read the book, but he's very hard to listen to. tests are fairly hard, but there's only 4 including the final. Offers 10pts extra credit in the form of a class presentation which he provides the topic and articles.

Easiest class ever. Proffesor janda does not require attendance and his tests are pretty straightfoward. If you have even a little background in psyc this class is for you. Your not going to become superinformed but a Good grade is worth it.

AWFUL! I AM A PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR WHO LOVES ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY BUT HE SOMEHOW MANAGED TO MAKE ME HATE GOING TO THAT CLASS. HE IS EXTREMELY BORING AND READS FROM HIS SLIDES TOO MUCH! HIS TEST ARE AWFUL AND DON'T MATCH THE BOOK OR LECTURE AS THEY SHOULD! DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

He is a wonderful proffessor and makes the lectures comprehendable.However, when it comes to test day his questions go FAR and BEYOND the lecture material and the book is a HORRIBLE read.All of his test have had huge curves.Idk why he doesn't change the test because obviously there is something wrong the questions if it requires major curves

Im in his psych of sex class and i love it.. the tests are easy because he makes everythang understandable.. he tells stories so that the info actually stays in your mind... he also doesnt go too far into the info and lets you ask questions or make comments and tries his hardes to answer them. id take him again in a heartbeat

i have taken janda for psych testing and psych of sex- i would take him again in a heartbeat. i wouldn't say he's easy, but he is so ridiculously knowledgeable, i admire him a lot. Don't let everyone else deter you - the sex class was pretty cool.I mean what would expect?****? :)

This was a difficult class. Dr. Janda is great and he knows what he is teaching like the back of his hand. Unfortunately he is unaware that we don't know the material. He thinks the subject is easy so he teaches it as if it is, but it's not. But i still recommend him if you are willing to put in the hours.

I love Dr. Janda! He's really really smart! He knows the material very well. I respect him alot but I wouldn't take the class unless you are willing to put the time and effort into studying hard for his exams.

This is a pretty good, interesting class if you attend. If you take good notes, you probably won't really need the text very much. Dr. Janda reviews really well for the tests, just read each question carefully. He tells some great stories about his patients also.

Class was almost a complete drag. Took the fun right out of sex by turning it dull and boring; definitely not an easy A. Writes in light marker...and can barely read handwriting. Monotone speaker. Full of statistical information; don't buy book...rarely uses it. Wouldn't recommend this professor to anyone!

This class was horrible. It was too many people in the class. Talking about sex supposed to be interesting and exciting, he made it boring. His tests requires you to really use your brain. I changed my major after dropping his class from psychology. Take another professor if you want to enjoy and really learn about the psycholgy of sex.

I absolutely hated this class and I'm a psych major. I was expecting so much more out of this class. I can out of it very disappointed. He really did make sex dry and boring. lol. Take this class with someone else, or don't take it at all if your a psych major....

His tests are miscellaneous and very random. Questions are often not in the book or in lecture. His lectures are incredibly boring, 10% of the time interesting. He is a very sweet old man. Class offers a lot of extra credit... a lot. Make sure you try to do ALL OF IT b/c more than likely you'll fail his exams. Grades are curved.
