She e-mails you the reading so no textbook. She'll show you the movie version of some class text if the reading would be too long for the class. Focuses on theater and literary movements in Spain. Easy grader just focuses on improving your grammar and speaking fluency in short presentations. She loves discussion based teaching and is easy-going.

She's an ok professor at best. I took two other classes with her for grammar-related subject matter, but my third class with her this semester is all reading and theater related. She assigns way too much reading, and doesn't incorporate much fun into learning. She makes learning more of a chore and an "I have to" instead of an eager "I want to.".

Easy class for me, but she did bother me. Her instructions on the final were unclear & sometimes she avoided answering questions about it. She also based the majority of our grade on weekly quizzes (3-5 questions long) in which she would ask obscure questions about the material. People were struggling because of these quizzes & thought it unfair

Lourdes is a wonderful professor and wants to share her knowledge with you. If you're ever stuck or in trouble, she takes so much care in helping students out. I loved her!

Lourdes is super nice and very easy. Her classes aren't hard at all, so unless you want to fill out stupid worksheets in class and do 9th grade level work, try to take another teacher who will challenge you and help you learn spanish.

Very, very easy teacher. You will have two tests tops in her class and if you study for just a few minutes and pay attention in class there is no way you could possibly get anything short of an A. I took her class as a chore to my major but I ended up loving the material. She is a wonderful lady.

Her culture and civilization class was pretty fun and a lot easier than the Latin American 40 course. Her 60 course (women in the golden age)wasn't hard, either but it did require 1-on-1 interviews with her. Her grading was fair, however.

Lourdes es muy simpatico y comico. She can't speak english to good but you'll have no trouble understanding her. She does assign a lot of work, but most of it is really easy stuff. If this is your first spanish class, take her.

11 with Lourdes was fun and easy. I know folks who didn't do the workbooks at all and still got B's. She has a strong accent and doesn't speak English as well as some of the other profs. She's pretty hot.
