Not as hard as you hear. Her rep is bigger than her bite. she fancies herself a slave-driver but she's really reasonable and I found her to be easier than i had expected. pseudo hard work and some intelligence gets an A

Dr. DiPaola opens your mind to what is current in education. You will basicaly have to teach yourself through tons and tons and tons of research that is guided by questions that she posts on-line. Work can be interesting or busy depending on the topic.

She brags how little time she spends in actual classrooms. It shows in her combatative demeanor toward the students. She insecurely asks what we have "heard" about her then threatens to not certify us should we displease her in any way.

This woman could be one of the most unhelpful individuals I have ever come accross in my life. Not only does she not have a CLUE when it comes to advising, but she also refuses to inform her students as to any changes the school makes in curriculum.
