The workload is massive! But if you do it all with your best effort you should get a good grade, none of that "let us make the test really hard then curve the grades" action going on here.

Tests are hard, but he curved generously in the end. Classes are nothing like the tests. Read the textbook and the textbook he uses for quizzes and you should be good for exams. If you get an 88 on all exams, you won't have to take the final, but everyone fails the second exam.

I luv Luis. He is a super nice guy and very smart and cute. His accent is so hot. Take him before he retires or expires. You will regret if you don't.

This class was HORRIBLE! He had 6 tests, one test basically everyone failed so he had to give a make-up test because it was going to mess up the grades. Apparently we were the ones at fault though. How did the whole class do bad and have that be our fault? BAD professor!! AVOID HIM!

I think that he was a good professor. I could understand everything he was saying. I would definetly recomend reading the text before going to class. There was a big curve at the end of the class. I thought that I was doing bad in the class but ended up getting an A. He is helpful during his office hours.

Tests are compiled based on homework problems (also be sure to check the sample problems in the text). The TA for this course grades very harshly. Your time is better spent doing the homework problems rather than attending lecture.

What a horrid class. He wants to help the students but his explanations are complex and thus useless. Chemistry should not be taught on powerpoint because it makes the progression of a problem difficult to follow. It's like his brain just vomits onto the screen.

This man believes that there is nothing more important on this earth than analytical chemistry. He is difficult to understand and lectures are pointless to go to. Just find out when the quizzes are and get the notes from the website.

This class is made out to be so much more complicated than it needs to be. Sitting through his lectures are painful.

He's obviously a super-smart guy. Only prob. is that he can't seem to communicate all that knowledge to a whole disinterested class easily. Best solution, talk to him one-on-one during office hours, there he is very helpful and patient.

Dear god, this class is insane. It's a ridiculous amount of work with quality standards that are simply unreasonable to expect. If there's one reason to switch from Chemistry to Medicinal Chemistry, this is it.

Analytical lab....only saw him once and he ripped my fairly good notebook apart (figuratively). Tough to understand. Wasn't as hard on some of the guy's notebooks, like it was ok for them to have terrible handwriting, the numbers must be in that scribble somewhere.
