He was an awesome professor! He is wiling to help all you have to do is ask! He really wants to see you succeed. He's not a hard grader, he's funny, he's nice, and he likes to take us outside sometimes. He's pretty laid back for the most part. I would definitely recommend taking him!

Comment:

This was the easiest class ever. Just show up to class and listen to him talk, that was it. This is a writing class, but we just did 1 essay throughout the semester. I got an A on the essay. The final is questions about what grade you deserve. I said I deserved an A because I basically have an A. However, I ended up with a B because of the final.

Honestly ridiculous. He is an alright guy but that's it to say the least.. Did not learn a thing beyond what I had learned in Composition I and I'll just leave it at that.. Oh yeah hold on to everything this man doesn't put your grades in till last minute. Have fun staring at the walls if you do take him:)

Deiter was amazing. He was super laid back, charming, and he tells cheesy jokes. He is a really nice man who will help anyone who needs it. He does not assign a lot of homework, usually just readings, and there are a couple papers throughout Comp 2. He doesn't take himself too seriously, but still teaches all the material very well. Great guy.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. At first he seems like he will be the coolest teacher you have because he seems laid back and wears weekend lounge clothes into class but he is not at all. You find yourself wondering why you paid for this class while you stare at the walls for 50 mins, three days a week, just because he enjoys speaking over your head.

I had Deiter for Comp 1 and 2 and Intro to Literature. I would absolutely take him again. There are very few assignments, so put good effort into the ones you are assigned. He's not great about writing feedback on papers, but if you personally ask him what he did or did not like, he's very helpful. Definitely take advantage of office hours.

Dieter is seriously the greatest teacher at NSU. I took him for COMP 1 and COMP 2. Would've taken him for Intro to Lit if I could. He's incredibly laid back and always tells cheesy jokes at the end of class. It's an easy A as long as you do your papers and show up. He's cool, funny, and nice. He learns your name and he makes class not suck. Lol

Has great teaching style, pretty laid back, allows you to correct your assignments and resubmit for grade. Gets a little impatient with inconsiderate and idiot students. Just pay attention, participate and do your assignments, you will learn and probably enjoy!

Lyle is not a very good teacher, his grading system sucks and he is unclear about things. For comp2 i dont recommend taking him because his assignments are pointless. There is no creativity involved.
